Sala Thai

The ambiance is casual with some beautiful cultural decorations. The service was fast and friendly. I originally ordered spicy eggplant with beef but the beef was too hard to chew. I had to send it back and requested to replace it with chicken. The chicken was much softer and more enjoyable to eat. The server was very accommodating and did make my order right so I appreciate that they fixed it. The flavor itself was pretty good. The medium spice wasn't too spicy at all. I wouldn't consider it Thai hot at all. They are very generous with their rice servings so that's a plus on my end.

I love Sala Thai!!!! I'm from Thailand so believe me when I tell you this is the best Thai food in Phoenix.Delicious food and wonderful people ((:

My husband and I just renewed our wedding vows we ordered from Sala Thai because it is our favorite Thai Restaurant here in Arizona.WE wanted to share it with our guests..... Now it has become their favorite too !!Even though they do not deliver...... the food was still hot and packaged really well.WE usually dine in, We like the BYOB policy too !!Keep up the outstanding work Lorraine R.

We were looking for a place close to where we were staying that had good reviews and was easily accessible (including parking and traffic). This fit the bill. It's a fairly casual dining experience. They have an impressively extensive menu. We both got curry and I also got the coconut soup, which is one of my favorite comfort foods. The thing that happens often, and not just here, is they leave such giant pieces of ingredients in the soup - it's hard to eat. The flavor was fantastic, though. Spicy means spicy here so make sure you aim low rather than high. My friend was disappointed in the mango sticky rice which according to her had rice that was too hard (it was, as far as I could tell), as if just out of the fridge (I guess?). On the plus side, the portion of mango was extremely generous and tasty. Service was just fine.

Really enjoyed this place! Never been here before until this past Tuesday and I'm glad I stop by. Our server was very kind and patient with us and suggested items off the menu. The food was tasty and packed with loads of flavors. The place was a bit small but I didn't mind it since it felt local. Overall, a great place to eat Thai food and enjoyed setting different.

I have to start by saying everyone was nice. The food sadly wasn't that great the yellow curry didn't have that yummy creaminess that I love. The noodle dishes weren't that flavorful, kinda bland. It wasn't horrible just not what I love in Thai food. The coconut shrimp was really good.

Portion size and price do not go along. Papaya salad in Togo box, 50% was stuffed with cabbage or lettuce chunk. And the other half had the actual salad with big cucumber pieces . Its too pricey at 14$ , to pay half of it for big piece of cabbage.

Tom Kra Gai Coconut milk soup at a spice level 2.5 was basically coconut cream + lemongrass + loads of salt. Very disappointing soup experience. Would NEVER order again.Sweet & Sour was decent and more moderately priced than other nearby Thai restaurants but much smaller portion.It's as if Sala does not believe in adding veggies or spice

The best Thai food in town. We ordered the crab wontons, steak satays.boyfriend got the barbecue chicken, which was amazing. I got the cashew chicken got rid of the peppers and added broccoli. The spice level I ordered was a three and it was pretty spicy, but it was the most wonderful flavor.And then the mango sticky rice for dessert, which is such a delicacy As we sat there, eating our dinner on a Friday night, there were endless to go orders, which lets you know how good this place is

What a gem of a restaurant fresh delightful food that tastes extraordinary The food should be eaten if possible at the restaurant when it canes out of the wok It's great take out but when hot it's just an epicurean delight This is not a common thai it's and exceptional restaurant that makes others feel common and average Fresh tasty great thai food A must try in our opinion
