I'm from CA so I crave good sushi. While it's not CA standard, it's good for TN. I think it's the best sushi place in Nashville. I like the Combo B - fresh sushi and your pick of a roll. Good deal and delicious. 4 stars because I think the booths/decor could use an upgrade. Sakura means cherry blossom...they should put a big (fake) cherry blossom tree at the entrance!

This is one of my favorite sushi places in Nashville. I've been several times and everything I've ordered has always tasted fresh and delicious. I especially enjoyed the sexy Laraine roll. For YEARS I've been looking for a place that makes sushi with thin slices of lemon and I finally found one. Not only does this roll have lemon, but it also has orange pieces. The combination of citrus, with the sauce and cilantro was just *chef's kiss.

Ok, so I have come here before years ago for their hibachi and I wasn't very impressed. They are still needing upgrades and now more than ever. Their restrooms are DISGUSTING. I will always say that restaurants HAVE to have clean welcoming restrooms, period. It says a lot about the standards of their overall cleanliness. I had already pay so I made a blind eye. I also didn't see their health department score displayed anywhere.They have a bar/sushi area and a hibachi area. Both looked like they needed cleaning as well. The staff was polite and friendly. I placed a to go order of sushi and a "large" miso soup (I don't know what a small would of have been like) taste was ok. I got 5 special rolls: Kobe, Omega 3, Fire Island, Colorful and Pertty Women. The sushi tasted good but it didn't feel fresh, not like it wasn't made to order but more on the quality of the ingredients. The presentation was good too. Overall it's not a place I would avoid but it would definitely not be my first choice when I want sushi or hibachi. Definitely come and make your own opinion.

I get cravings for the food from Sakura! I've never had a bad experience here as the servers are pleasant and deliver your order quickly. I enjoy the hibachi "show" when we go in to eat. Usually, I place the order over the phone and pick it up as I don't live too far away. The lobby needs a little upgrade to it. They have had the same "falling off the wall" decorations they've had for a year. The tables and hibachi areas are nice though. Usually at the dinner service the place is packed. That is a good indication that the food is great. I highly recommend Sakura!

I love sushi but this was just not moving me. The prices weren't terrible but the one special roll we got was expensive and just not good. A surf and turf roll of some sort. Everything else was decent but not memorable. Staff was friendly and attentive. That's all I got.

We just ate on the sushi side. They have a good selection and the price is very reasonable for sushi. The fish was fresh and the presentation of the food was fun. I will be back if I am in the area.

We purchased a coupon on Local Flavor & tried to use it & they say they couldn't honor it, that it wasn't valid. My husband & I shared a DINNER at lunch and & it's normally plenty for 2 people we both left there hungry & oh....they automatically charge 18% gratuity. Food was just OK, but because of both of those we will never be back & spreading the word because several of our friends purchased the same coupon. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SAKURA!

I love the food but hate he mandatory gratuity. I like to tip accordingly. I didn't realize this policy and tipped my cook on th side not realizing the tip was included. It turned out OK because we usually tip more but other people at or table were not impressed once we mentioned it. This may be normal for larger parties but not so much with just a couple.

Service was HORRIBLE!! I came here for lunch with my daughter. I ordered a lunch hibachi steak meal and a pick 2 sushi entree . The lunch hibachi is supposed to come with a soup or salad. I ordered the salad with mine and never received it. I then told her I didn't get my salad and she brings out everything else EXCEPT the salad. After I had reminded her it was missing. I also ordered a water and a sweet tea to drink and never got my sweet tea. I asked her for it twice and never got it. Was only checked on one time and when I confronted the lady at the front desk about it I was given a disgusting attitude. I've come here for many years and I think this was my last time. Management has really let itself go. If I were you, I'd find another place to eat with better service and a "customer is always right" kind of attitude
