low key Family owned spot in Franklin in the Kroger parking lot. Service was great and played music ideal for any audience. My wife and I ate the salmon teriyaki, great flavor. The rest of the people in the restaurant enjoyed the sushi. This is not a reservation or dress fancy place. Recommend if in the area.

Sakura is consistently good! It's tucked away in a nondescript strip mall next to Franklin's only legitimate late night bar, The Pond. It's the kind of place you know is good because of the lack of fanciness. They have a pretty wide range of Asian dishes, including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese. Want Thai Curry or Tom Kha, gatcha covered. What Sushi? Covered. Vietnamese Pho? Yep. "Chinese" General Chicken? Why not? They may have "Japanese" in the name, but all of it done well, at least to my American tastes. I think their Tom Kha is the best in town, and the Hong Kong shrimp really hit the spot.

This is a quaint hidden gem. A small family owned restaurant with great service, excellent food, and great prices.My friend in Nashville found this place and has befriended the owners. She is hesitant to call too much attention to the place as it will get crowded fast when everyone knows what we know about this place. Everything I have tasted has been excellent, the portions are large, and the prices are right! It's the loving touch they add to their Miso soup; they have kicked it up a notch with a Smokey and savory flavor. Yum!General Tso, Sushi, pad Thai, and egg rolls are all expertly prepared with maximum flavor. The peace de resistance though, is the Horseshow Roll. It is NOT on the menu, but they'll bring it right out to you. It's a sushi roll wrapped in Avocado rather than rice, seaweed, or cucumber. It's a bit slippery to pick up with chopsticks, but boy, is it ever tasty and refreshing. If you are looking for great sushi and/or Asian food that won't break the bank; this is the place for you. I don't have any pictures for you, but if you can find it you won't forget it.

My wife had the displeasure of enduring appalling rudeness at this establishment. The manager, with an insufferably condescending tone, questioned her ability to pay as she counted a couple of dollars in change for the order. Would he have questioned her ability to pay if she was white? The only reason we ever tolerated this mediocre spot was its proximity to our home. We've decided to opt for Fuji Hibachi Express Spring Hill for superior food and service instead. Based on other reviews I've seen for this restaurant this isn't the first time the manager has been rude to a paying customer. He should be fired. Don't visit this pitiful excuse for a restaurant.
