So first I want to apologize coming in 20 minutes before the kitchen closed; if I missed that online I'm sorry. really wanted some sushi after work and this was the only place open. The tables we were sat at felt really gross and I accidentally scraped some of the table off I need my fingernail... gross. We were given water with no ice. When I ordered a miso soup it was never brought so when I asked for it again I was told there was none. Thanks for telling me Sooner. We weren't given wasabi or ginger until we asked for it. I had to get soy sauce off another table. Service was just very mediocre if not slightly poor. Let me tell you what though. The sushi? Phenomenal. Sooooo freaking good. My gosh Got the salmon skin roll, eel and cucumber and the Cristy roll with regular crab instead of spicy crab. It's soo good. Nom nom nom

The outside is a little forbidding, has a closed look about it. But they were open...we went around 5pm, and they were not busy...though they were a bit busier by the time we left. The waiter was efficient but not very enthusiastic. Our food arrived very quickly and was tasty. There are some other interesting options in the same lot, so not sure if we will be back soon.

Don't waste your money. Stay away from here. I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. To start, the hostess/waiter didn't even say welcome in when we arrived. I don't know what he was going through, but his face was not a friendly one. - He sat us at the table. There were three tables with people, so it was not busy at all. After about 10 minutes, I had to get his attention to order our drinks. - The miso soup was cold. - We got our sushi and we didn't get the little trays for soy sauce. - I had to stand up to get a spoon. - The guy was in a bad mood, we tried but he didn't want to be friendly. I almost told him that he should go home and stop causing the owners to lose money, but my wife stopped me. - The food was terrible. I will never come back to this place. Eating out now is expensive, you go because you want to relax, have a good time, and to end up with this kind of attitude, bad service, terrible food quality is not fun at all.

Honestly the worst. The foods good but the server / hostess all she did was sit on her phone. Walked in to meet a couple friends that were already there , and literally waited 10 minutes before we were brought water (mind you there was only one other couple there at a different table. Super dead) I've been a bartender for 8 years and this shit does not fly ever anywhere. Then, brings our drinks. Never asked if we wanted food. Waited another 10-15 minutes, she never came around. Asked the chef to make me a roll and of course , here she comes "I'm so sorry yeah I'll take care of you". Brings out our roll and never once checked on us, not even acknowledged us. Another Asian couple walked in and BOOM that girl was so friendly, so nice to them, as soon as they walked in and sat down they got service. Never again. Awful service.

When the zombie apocalypse breaks out. Patient zero will have recently dined at Saketini...I have frequented Saketini for close to 10 years as it's just down the street from my house. It's slowly lost favor with me and over the years I've found other places. However tonight I met up with a friend that I hadn't seen in years and after checking out his new place and a few years he suggested we head out to an old favorite for a roll and some saki bombers.Immediately upon entering we noticed the place hasn't aged well... We're faced with this reality as soon as we enter and head to the bathroom. The mirrors behind the sink are replaced with torn drywall? I'm confused. Are we amidst a renovation? I don't think so, but the bathroom is looking rough as shit. Either way, I head out to the bar to join my friend. I immediately commented on the state of the bathroom. He acknowledges my concerns and does his best to counsel me. After all, this is our old sushi/drinking spot.I shake it off and we ordered some saki bombers like old times... The saki come out and I don't know if it's the light or not, but I catch a piss yellow hue off of it. Upon examining it, I confirm what I've historically known as a scalding hot clear liquid is now a deep dehydrated piss yellow. I look to my friend in despair. What the fuck is this? With extreme hesitation I cautiously smell the strange saki.I'm immediately greeted with the aroma of dingy carpet mildew and strong cat piss notes on the nose. I don't know why, but I smell it several times. Taken aback with how absolutely awful this saki smells. There's absolutely no world in which I allow this liquid into my body. I ask for a sealed bottle of saki. Our server immediately waves our piping hot cat piss chaser for a $15 of cold and most importantly sealed saki. The rest of the night is more of the same and ill save you some time. I didn't really want to order anything else after the initial experiences, but I'm a sucker and ordered a sushi roll. Do I risk getting food poisoning on the eve of a 3 day weekend? I roll the dice and get the oddly named 8282 roll.My first piece seals the seal. I've wanted $40 for a bottle of kirin light. The sushi is funky as fuck and I refuse to spend my 3 day weekend dying on the bathroom floor. I tap out.We wait 30-40 minutes for our waitress to come back around, we pay for our bill and leave. As we walk out I scan the room and lock eyes with other patrons that have come to the same realization of their doomed fate. We share that unspoken moment in a glance of knowing how fucked we were in this evening.Saketini is a crusty, cat piss riddled shell if it's former self. A chapter in my life has closed and I will never return to this health violation hell hole.RIP Saketini As we

I've passed by Saketini many times and never gave it much thought, especially after the fire(?) and the burnt/closed appearance. I was craving a crunchy California roll (cause I'm basic) and it actually is really hard to find! I found a crunchy Cali roll on Saketini's menu and bf ordered a Hungry roll (Avo, cream cheese, tuna). We split beef yakisoba. Our to go order was ready within 10-15 minutes! The crunchy Cali roll was okay. It wasn't as "crunchy" as I'd have preferred. The hungry roll was decent as well. They didn't seem particularly fresh. The beef yakisoba was the best item of the three, and had decent wok hay flavor. Overall Saketini was okay. Daruma is located in the same parking lot and is significantly better!

Saketini used to be the place to go for amazing food, a great atmosphere, and the best music. That is no longer my opinion.I went to dinner here on Saturday night and it was off to a bad start. We waited almost 10 mins for someone to greet us and get us a table. A man who turned out to be our server grabbed two menus and didn't say a word to us so we assumed to follow him. He left the 2 menus on the table and walked away. No verbal confirmation or eye contact which we thought was strange. There was only 1 server on a Saturday night and we were not the only ones who felt the hostile environment was uncomfortable. A couple was sat down close to us and they weren't even greeted for some time so they got up and left. If I wasn't so hungry I would have done the same. The server complained about needing to grab change for a couple behind us after they paid. And another table pleaded to have him change the music since it was incredibly vulgar music and she had a young child with her. The server, who was in control of the music was annoyed and rolled his eyes after coming out from the kitchen. My friends and family will no longer be going to saketini and have found so many other better sushi places with actual CUSTOMER SERVICE. I cannot believe how rude and uncaring this place has become. New management? Not worth the time and money. They have also changed their menu with only names of the sushi rolls and completely removed the description and pictures. What a joke.

I live very close and have come here over a dozen times. Food has been good everytime as well as the service, a little slow sometimes but not bad at all. Great to go and have some sake bombers and sushi. Their steamed gyozas are delicious!

Says they're open but they're not. Drove 20 minutes to eat here but looks like they can't update their listings accordingly only. Bad on the marketing and operations team. Won't be coming back.
