Overpriced and underwhelming for what it was, unfortunately. From the inconsistent service of rolls ordered at once coming out one at a time to the attempted at elevated cuisine, it just kept letting us down. The lollipop roll was tastiest of 5 rolls ordered, but the chili powder/soy sauce mix it came with looked really unappealing, like coffee grounds in the bottom of the pot. The service was unusually slow for a mostly empty dining room on a Friday night. The single plate of ginger/Wasabi had woody, brown edged pieces that were chewy and inedible. I wouldn't come back. The tiny avocado roll was overpriced, but simple and the most straightforward. The milk tea was good, Boba slightly undercooked but definitely passible.

Ordered half of the menu on happy hour. Happy hour used to be $1 off but now it's HALF OFF and that's a pretty great deal. Can't go wrong with half off sushi. They're known for sake bombs but I came for the grub so if you have experience with the Cocktails here I'd suggest you post a review, because they seem well known for them! The server was helpful. Deserves all the props. Top tip.

Fun, dive bar atmosphere and pretty solid sushi!Met up with some friends for happy hour and it was a perfect atmosphere. Happy hour included most of the drinks and a lot of food options. I'm not a boba fan, but they had some fun boba cocktails (with alcohol). There were also several drink specials in addition to the menu. I had the Lychee margarita which was decent, and the margarita on special which was sweet and spicy -- delicious! Service was great - friendly and attentive. The fish in the sushi seemed fresh but the rice seemed a little hard and dry in some of them. Despite that, the spicy tuna roll was good and the Sunshine Roll was addictive! I will definitely go back for that one. Fun place to go for some sushi and drinks in a casual bar environment.

SakeBomber used to be one of my go-tos for affordable sushi when I was in college. It gives off a cool dive bar vibe the moment you open its doors and see its familiar red photo wall -- and while it was strange to be ID'd upon entry at 6:30 p.m. this time around, I suppose it added to the experience. The sushi quality was as I remember -- not top-tier, but always fair and enjoyable when you're craving it. I liked the rainbow roll the best from my order, and the pork gyoza was pretty good, too. However, while affordability was once the draw, happy hour prices have doubled over the course of a few years. Expect very standard California rolls and salmon skin rolls for about $8 *on sale.*I really appreciated how attentive our server throughout our time in the restaurant. She was super kind and always quick to bring out drinks. However, I wouldn't recommend ordering their milk teas -- especially their regular milk tea, which was pretty much tasteless. If you do want something non-alcoholic, their Vietnamese coffee is definitely closer to what you'd expect from a restaurant/boba shop!

Great sushi, but I found it very overpriced. Good service and again good food, but I probably won't be back unless it's happy hour (5-7) which is nice and a late happy hour so I'll try that next time.Had the lychee margarita and it was amazing

My man and I came for an impromptu date night and had a blast!! The waitresses are so friendly and engaging, and so patient because we're so indecisive. My highlights were definitely the lollipop roll and the alcoholic boba! SO so clever and innovative, and so delicious! The only reason I'm taking a star off is because the boba was mushy (either overcooked or old boba that had been re-boiled), and some pieces of raw fish were mushy and tasted old. Overall though, a very fun experience!

Despondent. Went here to meet a friend for happy hour. I tried my first boba tea which was fun. They have a special that's but 2 get one free during HH. The service was fantastic! I think one of the owners was helping us. However, the main event of sushi itself was pretty lackluster. Additionally, the HH prices were not worth the drive. It was over $100 for 2 people and no alcoholic drinks. Overall, I felt a little despondent about this experience.

This was a fun place and they have quite a few fun sake options. It was a little dark when I went in for dinner but the food and service was good!

I've been here more than 5 times and it's always great. One of the best sushi I've ever tasted as well! I LOVE their eel nigiri! They really have the best eel nigiri among all others I've tried. Service is great. After all the times I've been here, the last time they were honestly slow. It took about 30 minutes for us to get our main course food/sushi's but it's ok we had the drinks & 1 appetizer. Our server was still very attentive & nice. She wanted us they don't have a lot of chef so it was understandable. We've been here many times and that was the first time they were slow so it is not a bjgThis place never fails! They also have the best alcoholic milk tea boba (idk the entire name for it). I've come by here many times & it's always been an amazing experience. 100% recommend!
