Second time here in close to a week and WOW it delivered yet again. We brought our family this time and they were blown away as well by the food. We were greeted with an off menu appetizer, then enjoyed the all you can eat sushi menu. I tried some nigiri and the jalapeño popper roll which were all fresh and flavorful.

Let me start this off by saying we have been here multiple times before for the all you can eat sushi and had good experiences but this last time had everyone seriously ill running for the toilet the next two days. My boyfriend and my friend's boyfriend can seriously max out on sushi, I'm talking like 70 pieces but that's the point of specifically going to an "all you can eat" establishment. This last time we went in the workers behind the sushi bar looked at each other and knew these were the guys that order a lot and you can tell they were annoyed about it. They ALWAYS skimp us on a few rolls and assume we don't notice. We are fully aware that you must eat what you order or you have to pay for it and there's never anything left. Well this time they didn't give us 3 of the rolls we originally ordered we had to make another order to get those AND we all got horribly sick after!Some of the fish tasted off and not right so they must have given us the older fish in hopes we wouldn't notice. If you're losing money stop doing the all you can eat, simple as that! Never going back, but hey that's probably what they wanted anyways....Beware of food poisoning here!

Really my favorite restaurant in the area. There are much less options for AYCE sushi in the burbs compared to Chicago, but sake sushi & grill gives the Chicago AYCE spots a run for their money. Their makis are my favorite, the fish to rice ratio is awesome and the fish quality is at least good and usually great. The yellow tail maki and salmon makis tend to be my favorite. The dinner menu adds interesting special rolls for a light increase in price. Service is attentive without being overbearing. The price is awesome too, just 20$ for lunch - wild. I make a point to eat here every other weekend.

Came here with a friend and her son. VERY happy with all the options in the All-You-Can-Eat menu. Highly recommend the Godzilla Roll and be warned of tuna salad on the Crunch Roll. Family friendly and a fun place! Sushi (tuna and salmon) was fantastic!

Totally disappointed! We went close to closing, so we requested for take out, Mistake#1. My wife is a vegetarian and likes her food separate than my meat. This personnel packed in the same container causing her to not eat her sushi and my Friday was ruined with unhappy wife. As she didn't want to eat there and I was ok for carryout. Then I checked in on yelp to redeem my mochi ice cream/gyosa they denied strictly denied, we don't do coupons, mistake #2 check in social media so we form memories but now I will remember such a terrible customer service and no carryout.Mistake#3 Lastly the food had no flavor, you eat asian food you get spices and flavor. My wife ordered veggie fried rice he literally gave us fried rice with no VEGGIES. My wife was like did he refried the rice in hot oil and gave me food. I ordered chicken fried rice extra hot n not even salt in it. May be some pieces of chicken but nothing otherwise. Overall living 10 mins away pushed me to come here I am never stopping by again.

In an upperclass suburban strip mall in Lake Zurich a sign says SAKE. It should have said "Holy Grail of ALL YOU CAN EAT Sushi".Simply the best freshest sushi served in generous and unlimited portions at pre-COVID pricing. Wow...recommended at TEN STARS without hesitation...it doesn't get any better or fresher. This was my first order...in Chicago this is $75 bucks all day long...yet included in the all you can eat Japanese feast. Too wonderful too wonderful for words

This is our FAVORITE sushi place in the area ... very consistent high quality sushi, appetizers, and entrees. Very good service and fresh prep by the chefs is ALWAYS consistent.Good value for a fresh sushi and other authentic japanese cuisine. They also have all you can eat at lunch and dinner that's really a great value If you haven't tried this place, we recommend this very highly to everyone.

they offer an all you can eat but only if at least half of your party orders it. we had 2 children and 2 others who do not like sushi. they would not let us order it. we will never go back there. plenty of other sushi restaurants in Lake Zurich.
