I took a photo of the stage when we walked in. Then I learned later photos aren't allowed. Oops.

Wow! What an amazing little theatre. I just enjoyed an AMAZING on-stage delicious thriller, that's creepy but also funny at times, called "Misery" at Yellow Tree Theatre based on Stephen King's 1980's novel that was adapted into a popular 1990's movie and now in the 2020's a wonderful play. The theater is unassuming, on a little strip mall, where there's plenty of parking ... and once inside...it's magic! The stage makes great use of space and very creative with the set and lighting. Seating is excellent... not a bad seat in the house.I didn't know photos weren't allowed, the one picture I took and posted of the set was when I walked in. Oops I turned off my phone after that was announced. I loved the play and the theater. I plan to come back again and again! Oh, we are still in COVID times, so everyone in the audience need to wear a mask.

Saw a Covid makeup show here tonight. This is a fun theater that does a broad range of shows. The talent is always top shelf, spotlighting local and National talents. The shows are always thought provoking and intimate. The main stage is always surrounded by seating with viewers close enough to reach out and touch the cast members. They are very creative with lighting and sets to make the most of what they have. The theater offers concessions and beverages to consume during the shows, however this has been suspended during the pandemic. From the street the theater is part of a strip mall on Osseo and isn't anything remarkable. Parking is plentiful and fairly well lit. The theater still requires proof of vac, and that patrons wear masks. Being in a high risk category, I appreciate the precautions!Yellow Tree is a great local theater worthy of your attention! Give it a try and have some fun!Photos aren't allowed, so none have been included.

Honestly, I had no idea that this local theatre was here near downtown Osseo (in a strip mall). We enjoyed their production of A Streetcar Named Desire. Parking was easy, the seats comfortable. Well worth the trip to Osseo!

Yellow Tree Theatre is an absolute GEM! You wouldn't think so upon first appearances as you turn off the highway and see the little strip of store fronts that YTT belongs to but inside is really fantastic theatre. If you live in the 'burbs or even on the other side of the Twin Cities you must come to see a show here. It's fantastic! The theatre space is wonderful, great use of space, great lighting, great vibe. I saw "Violet" here recently and was swept away by the production quality and the music, not to mention the amazing talent performing of course!! The bar area is really warm and inviting, the staff friendly and accommodating. There are lots of sofas and tables/chairs to relax in before and afterwards. I'm really happy to have found Yellow Tree. Bravo folks! Bravo!! I'll be back for more and more. #Winners.

Charming setting. Affordable. We saw Miracle on Christmas Lake. Hardest I've laughed in months! The writing is well-paced and authentic. The actress who played Martha is fearless. The cast chemistry is genuinely lovely. Do not miss this treasure. https://vimeo.com/299479301

I went to this little theater on Saturday for the first time to see a play called "The Movie Game". I was quite impressed with everything from the coziness of the quaint theater, to the play itself. The actors did a fantastic job. The theater itself sits in a small strip mall in the small town of Osseo. Tickets were reasonable at $20 a piece. Great place for date night! I plan to go back to see their Christmas production- "Miracle on Christmas Lake" www.yellowtreetheatre.com

Yellow Tree Theatre is literally a hidden gem. Nestled within a strip mall less than a mile from Hwy 169, the 120 seat venue has created a unique space for entertaining theatre goers both before and after the show. There is a large anteroom, furnished with tables & chairs, where beverages can be purchased and post-show discussions are held for interested members of the audience.I recently saw the performance of Bruce Norris's "Clybourne Park'. The acting was phenomenal, the stage & props purposefully constructed, and the transition between scenes seamless. Great experience!

Don't let the Osseo strip mall location deceive you - this is a great little theater. Recently caught one of their original shows here and was very impressed. The theater seats about 120 so it's small, but that means every seat is a good one. Instead of traditional theater seats (which I dread), they use outdoor chairs with mesh seats. I was surprised by how comfortable I was throughout the show. The sound here is also fantastic. They've clearly invested dollars in all the right places.

My wife and I are very thankful that this theater is so considerate of their patrons that they are requiring all in attendance at their plays to be vaccinated. We will feel much safer attending their plays this year knowing that everyone around us will be vaccinated.
