WHERE ARE THE DONUTS?When I am visiting somewhere I want to experience their donut scene. Wuollet is not the place to experience Minnesota's donuts. They had like 5 flavors and nothing was special. I felt super let down. I settled on glazed and man the air pockets inside- there was barely a donut!BOO!

Wuollet is a great spot for so many things: working, hanging with a friend, or just grabbing coffee or a pastry.COFFEE: above average coffee (but I'm no expert). I got a basic cold brew so can't speak to specialty drinks but I enjoyed it.PASTRIES: look amazing, but I haven't personally tried them. They have a large arrangement of them (croissants, cakes, cupcakes, donuts, cookies), but they seem to vary day-to-day so don't rely on specific items.AMBIANCE: really good! Not too loud so it's possible to have a conversation or take a work call, but doesn't feel empty either. Well decorated.SERVICE: very good and consistently friendly

Loved the pepperoni and cheese snack plate. Chocolate croissant is filled with chocolate which made it that much better. I can't wait to come back and try some coffee. Both the ladies working the register were pros and the location was clean and quite when we stopped in Sunday morning

Last month, on a Friday, I had parked across the street from Slurp. I noticed Wuollet Bakery diagonally across from Slurp. I flagged it because I like visiting bakeries. While dining at Slurp, I looked at the baked goods selection at this store on my phone. It had paczki. According to the photos, it had raspberry and lemon fruit filling. Sold! After lunch, I headed over to Wuollet. It had a couple of folks enjoying a quiet afternoon sipping a drink and reading. I liked the quiet vibe. I looked at the baked goods. I found the paczki. I was also drooling at the croissants and cookies.Well, it took a while for someone to come out to the counter to help me out. She was busy chatting with another staff person in the kitchen area. She popped out briefly, said hi, and went back inside to chat with her colleague.Um, a bit weird. She did reappear and finally got her undivided attention. I asked what paczki flavours she had. There were raspberry, lemon, and apple. I got one of each.I paid with a credit card. I tapped and all was done. I got my three items in a paper bag. I thanked her and headed to my car.I briefly headed back to my hotel room. It was my last full day in the Twin Cities and I had time to kill before the Wild game. I was disappointed with the raspberry paczki. It was not fruit filling. It was cream-based, which isn't my thing. I took a bite and you could barely taste the raspberry. I ate the whole thing. When I got back from the Wild game, I had the other two paczki. The lemon was my least favourite. It also had a cream-based centre. I couldn't taste any lemon. It was flavourless cream. I actually threw it out. It was not yummy. The winner was the apple paczki. It had apple filling. No cream. Really apple cubes. Yes! I loved it. I wish that I had bought all the apple ones. It was awesome. So, my rating is somewhat odd. It's lower due to the paczki photos on their site that didn't match what I got, except for the apple paczki.I'd still return and try other items on the menu. I'd simply stick with the apple paczki if I am in a paczki mood again.(34)

Meh. Nothing stood out. Wuollet's used to be THE bakery in town. There are so many more bakeries that have a much more superior offering. Felt a bit run down and needs some TLC.Sustainability - 0 stars. We weren't given an option of to go or in store cups. When we asked where the recycling or compost container was the barista told us to put our plastic cups in the garbage.Ambiance - 1 Decor wasn't as cool or cozy compared to other coffe shops or bakeries nearby the store has 2 doors and no matter where you sit, in the winter it's cold and drafty.Accessibility - 2 they did have a parking lot behind the building but it was tiny and while there's street parking, it can be hard to come by at timesService - 3 average. They were pleasant, average speed, didn't really engage in conversation even though it was slower, order was correct. Nothing wowing that sparked extra joy.Drinks - 3 average

A reliable place to grab a coffee in Uptown / LynLake area! I love that they're open until 6 on weekdays, which makes it a great place to work remote. There's plenty of seating space with a variety of comfy chairs, tables, and bar stools. They've got a varied selection of food items - egg sandwiches made to order and lots of pastries at the counter, and a refrigerated section with cake, juices, and wraps/salads. I grabbed a golden oat latte, which was delicious and turmeric-y (NOT ick-y)! Service was friendly and efficient. I noticed that everyone else dining in got to-go cups too - I don't mind, and maybe it's because it was the afternoon, but would love to see reusable mugs used. They have reliable WiFi and it makes for a great place to work! Cheers :)

I was waiting for an appointment in Uptown and decided to kill time at Wuollet. An unassuming, "thrift shop" interior welcomes people to work, read, or just enjoy some coffee. My vanilla latte was surprisingly tasty, as I wasn't expecting much from the beat-down looking interior. Service staff was lovely! The interior could use an upgrade, with broken flooring and tile falling off the coffee bar, but a decent spot to grab a latte if you're in the area.

Very excited to have tried Wuollet's awesome bakery items! This rainbow cake is a classic vanilla flavor and is finished off with all-natural buttercream. The texture was moist & buttery, without being too sweet. @wuolletbakery also has some killer coffee, donuts, pastries, and other delicious cake options at their multiple Minneapolis locations. Secure a rainbow cake for yourself this month to help cerebrate PRIDE!
