Great place for happy hour. Special occasions. Wonderful food. Loved the walleye sandwich, pizzas.

Food has consistently been really good. Service is excellent. Can accommodate large groups (usually). Love the chipotle chicken sandwich. Has great wine and drink options.

Loved it.It was our first time here today. We came with two other couples for lunch. John was our server. He was very kind and patient. He even put up a window screen to shade us from the bright sun. My wife and I shared the following for lunch :- Walleye Finger appetizer- Asian Salad with Grilled Chicken- Bowl of Wild Rice and Chicken SoupEvery item was excellent. The portion sizes were fairly large. We finished the soup and took home over half the salad and walleye fingers. I'd come back here again.

We came here for dinner with friends. I really enjoyed my ahi tuna and my wings were decent. My husband did not really like his burger. He said that it came with no sauce. The service here was pretty good for the most part. Overall, we had a decent time here. Would I come back? Probably not. It was pretty pricey for us to just think the food was OK. We also had to wait like 30 mins for table which is good for them, as they are busy but if you don't like to wait make a reservation. I will say the presentation of my food was impeccable absolutely stunning.

Finally made the journey west to check this place out!First off - I have heard people rave - both those that live in the Waconia/Victoria area, as well as some clients of mine that I have shared my passion for cajun pasta with. This place has come up again and again.Fun story - I picked this place for a first date! A little bit of a game having never been - but it totally worked out. Winchester & Rye was a favorite of a family members of hers to the tune of her making multiple repeat visits. I already kind of new what I was targeting for dinner, but I asked if there was a consensus favorite... Naturally, it was the cajun pasta! As soon as I ordered it the server commented on it being the menu's best seller. All great signs to me!So... The results? Fantastic! The flavor of the cajun cream sauce competes with the best I've had. The onions and peppers were a beautiful addition to the dish - and I even got extra serrano peppers after I told the server I liked to spice things up. I absolutely devoured the dish. Maybe I should have thought about this for a first date. Oops! Going beyond the food - this place just oozes upscale with an awesome ambiance for a date, family dinner, or a classy drink. It isn't like you need to show up with a collar or observe a certain dress code, but the decor suggests you won't disappoint if this is where you head for a nice occasion like a birthday, anniversary, etc.

We brought my 88 year old mom to W&R for Mother's Day dinner. We were seated in the bar/lounge area which was a bit too noisy for Mom's ears. We endured.I started with a Moscow Mule that was quite tasty but perhaps a bit on the smaller side.I ordered a Garlic Shrimp Pasta dish that was very tasty. The shrimp were cooked well and the sauce wasn't overly thick and clingy. I ate nearly the whole serving. Mom and my wife each ordered the Asian Chicken Salad. The size of the salads were enormous. We realized they could have easily split a salad and be satisfied with the portion. The components were fresh and crispy. The chicken cooked well and the dressing tangy with a hint of spice.No room for dessert but a pleasant dining experience was experienced by all.

Reserved a table in the whiskey bar for Mother's Day. Started off with a tasty pizza as an appetizer & followed up with entries. Pastas, salads, and burgers were all delicious with generous portions and appropriate pricing. Service was excellent despite being a full crowd.

I enjoyed my sisters bday with her today. I've never been here and was pleasantly surprised. Scott was our waiter and did a fine job. My sister had a Prosecco , filet Mingnon and cheesecake for dessert. She seemed to enjoy it all. I had the Buffalo Cesar wrap which was good but fell apart because it was not wrapped very tight. The service and ambiance was perfect for a nice date night! However, the food was just mediocre. The artichoke dip was ok, but I wouldn't ordered it again. For the main dish I got the macaroni with buffalo chicken. The chicken was super bland and I couldn't really taste the buffalo sauce. The drinks were good! I got the Barrel Gin Negroni.

The food is great. I love the Salmon Salad - perfectly crisp greens topped with a large cut of salmon and the dressing is super flavorful. Service could be slightly faster, especially when just ordering a salad, but they are very responsive.
