Waldo's Pizza

Hello my name is Eric and I wanted to leave a review of my experience at this fine establishment the service here was very good me and the fam really liked eating here I've recommended it to a few of my friends at work and they all thought it was very good I will be coming back to this pizzeria soon this place deserves a 5 star

I've lived in St. Cloud for about 6 months now and I decided I was going to try all the pizza places to find some great pizza places in town. I seen photos and thought "this place looks good" so I gave it a try. The delivery was in time but when I greeted the delivery driver at the door of my building he had set the pizza on a table in the lobby and then was on the phone when I opened the door and he grabs the two pizzas with one hand so he could hold his phone to his face. He held both pizzas at about a 45° angle which i thought was kind of unprofessional. My pizza was all messed up, cheese and topping had slid off, the box was soaked with grease, and it was already pretty much room temperature. I found the best looking piece and figured I'd still give it a try. It was awful. The crust was soft and doughy, the sauce was tasteless, and the toppings didn't add much either. I read the negative reviews but I figured I'd give Waldos the benefit of the doubt and boy I was wrong. Avoid this place, the customer service is bad and the quality of the food is worse.

Having grown up around St Cloud & attending SCSU in the 80's, this was once my favorite Pizza joint and the Barnstormer my favorite pizza. A lot has changed since then. Waldo's has moved many times over the years. I'm not sure how many ownership changes they have had, if any.I stopped by for the lunch buffet. There were only 2 others there when I arrived (around 1:00). Slow day for Waldo's? Hope so. Pizza isn't as good sitting on a buffet for hours waiting to be eaten, and it seemed like that was the case when I was there. I'm sure the pizza would have been better fresh. The salad bar looked good, but I gotta admit, I just went straight for the pizza. Waldo's pizza crust is a little thicker than a traditional style. Their sauce has always been my favorite part if the pie, topped with good ingredients.I'm reviewing this at 4 stars, based on my past experiences along with my latest visit. I think their pizza served fresh is still one of the best around.

Not what it used to be. 2 bad experiences. 1: we went there for dine in about a month ago. Got there at 4:30 pm ..there was not a single customer there (should have taken that as a sign). We ordered a large thin crust and a large original pepperoni with half no cheese. We had to wait an hour for our food and didn't get the thin crust we ordered. We told the waitress and she said 'sorry bout that' but didn't offer to fix our order or anything.. not that we'd wait another hour so.. ‍ also the whole time we were there no one came to eat.. someone walked in and looked around then walked right back out. 2: thought we'd try again, this time I ordered online. A stealth size aviator on thin crust and a large original crust half pepperoni and half aviator with no cheese. I sent the order and then called the restaurant to make sure they saw the comment section stating no cheese on the aviator half.. the guy was like yeah.. got it.. be there in 45 minutes to an hour. A little over an hour later it was delivered. The thin crust was thick. The half no cheese aviator was sausage and cheese and the half pepperoni had no cheese. I don't think it could have been done any more wrong. If you want to blow $50 and don't have any expectations whatsoever this is your go to place.

I love This Pizza place its my favorite go to i am going to miss eating it we found it when i was in junior high and now as an adult i am still in love with the pizza great customer service ! And the owner is an awesome person !

Very good pizza! I've been a customer for years. They are being under-utilized so get a group together and have some great pizza! The Barnstormer has been my favorite since the beginning.

the pizza here was alright the service however was a whole different story. first it took them almost 2 hours for us to get the pizza but they gave u our plates then waited another 30min to get the pizza we only ordered 2 medium pizzas and when we got the pizza one of them we order pepperoni and sausage and ended up getting black olives too and the other pizza had little toppings. after all that the bill still was the same they didnt even try to make up for the amount of time we had wasted for the pizza. i would never go back again.

I haven't been to Waldo's in years. I loved the pizza before when I had gone two locations ago. I don't live in the area anymore, so it's not a place I think to visit. My friends wanted to meet there for dinner before going downtown. I was excited! Maybe I was too excited to go, but I ended up being pretty disappointed. The service was pretty good. They let us bring in our own cupcakes. But the pizza was just okay. I honestly think there are other places I would visit before going back to Waldo's.
