Village Pizza

I've been going to Village Pizza since my parents started bringing me there when I was a baby. 54 years later I still go there. I need to drive 24 miles to get there, and I've loved it for all these years.Unfortunately the new owner has decided cut back on quality while at the same time, raise prices. I know everybody is raising their prices. It is what it is, but to cut back on the toppings and cheese to the point where it seems like I'm paying $24 for a Jacks pizza, that's where I got to say something. For half a century there was no way you would get a square a pizza that didn't have a bunch a sausage and pepperoni on it. My latest pizza, there are many squares devoid of any toppings at all. And to top it off, the pizza was way undercooked. Crust was still raw. Compare my pic to older pics. You'll see. Message to new owner -- Most people will understand and accept price increases, but don't mess with how the pizzas have been made for the past 60 years. The quickest way to bankruptcy is changing what has been successful. Oh yeah, and stop decreasing the sizes of the regular and double orders of fries.

This was a fav pizza place when I was younger but as an adult, I can no longer eat dairy. When I asked for no cheese they explained that the pizza wouldn't cook properly and would burn. I now have two other pizza places that can accommodate my request.

Very disappointed with our last delivery. Forgot half of it, cost a small fortune. Person that took the order missed several things. Person that "fixed" The order was unhelpful and unwilling to make right the mistakes. Completed the order (much later) and charged extra for the things that were missed. $75 for a salad. Two burgers. Two wraps. And order of onion rings. We've been customers for 30+ years. Guess they're not concerned with us coming Back.

Best pizza in NSP, waitress and staff are all so friendly and truly makes you feel like you are at home and in a small town. The pizza is excellent and the homemade fries are the beat around! We have also had their burgers and they are very good and portions are perfect size!

There are many pizza places near by. Pick a different one. We live a block away and have ordered three times in 7 years. The first time we were the only ones in the restaurant and they got our order wrong twice. The second time we ordered pick up and it was good pizza. The third time the order was wrong again and really dry. At that point 1/3 is a failing grade and we figured we would order from a place more consistent.

Went to pick up my pizza, and found out that they wanted to charge a surcharge for using my credit card. I told them that they did not list it on the web page, so they can not charge me for it. I had a big argument in front of the customers. I informed them that they can only sell a product for what people are willing to pay, and that I was not willing to pay for the addition credit card surcharge. I also said that they can remove the surcharge or keep the pizza, which would of resulted in them not getting $22 from me. They decided to take the lose. I have not been back since, nor will I ever be returning. If I could give them a negative rating I would. Terrible business owners.

Pizza was excellent. Apps were decent. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely a top tier pizza place in the neighborhood.

This place has best pizza anywhere around been eating there pizza since I was a little kid 40 now still just the best.

This place is garbage. Their food has been far from decent. Then you tell the owner and he offers a lousy 20% off. No bud you fix the order or replace it. Then wants to scream at me to go to hell! Stay away they have been lousy since this clown took over

I lived in N. St. Paul for over 20 years. Kids went through Kindergarten to High School, so grew up on the Village goodies. Have lived in Stillwater for the past 20+ and still make the trek back to the Village for their Pizza. It has come thru several owners and when "Jeffrey" took over, the local clientele wanted to make sure the recipe for the dough and sauce remained. IT HAS!!Excellant pizza with lots of cheese. We always have their "Special" with extra sauce. I've personally seen other pizza's with a lot thinner crust, to me its just right, and will easily hold 3 toppings. Don't have any complaints on the service, but being a regular may help. I know they have had a hard time with help, just like most restaurants these days. Broasted Chicken, burgers, fries are also very good. Just sayin.
