The staff that I dealt with were all very nice. The food was excellent. The price of the burgers was incredible A 3 patty cheeseburger for about $5. And a small French fry is about half the bag full. I had a chocolate malt that was probably one of the best I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be back

To order you must give them a phone number. Nope. Nope. Nopity nope. Cmon folks, it's fast food. You don't need personal info. All you need is some cash or a card.

Small little spot that reminds me of a counter-service Dairy Queen. They make their burgers fresh to order. Standing room only, so don't expect to eat inside.The double cheeseburger was solid. Similar to a McDouble, but slightly higher quality. Fries were also quite good. Well salted, crispy. Strawberry shake that reminds you of something from your childhood.All in all, very solid little burger joint that is also very affordable! Huge bonus for their prices!

Amazing food, It only lasts a few minutes in my family. The people working there are nice and very hard working. The place is always hopping full of customers eager to get their food, everyone is happy to wait because of the quality of the service. The atmosphere feels tight knit and welcoming!edit: Not to mention the prices are very affordable, you can feed yourself for under $10.

I was introduced to Val's a few years ago by a friend while we were on our way up to the cabin. I immediately fell in love and now my husband and I make it a point to stop anytime we are passing through.Their burgers are unassuming but SO FREAKING DELICIOUS. Fries are perfectly crispy and salty. And the milkshakes are a perfect way to finish the meal. And everything is extremely affordable and ready quickly. You can place an order online for pickup and that's the way to go as the interior is pretty small, usually crowded, and standing room only. The staff is always so kind as well! Go to Val's. You won't regret it!

Came here after hearing about it a lot. Was not impressed. Small, basic, flavorless burgers. Nothing wrong with them but I just don't get the hype. Was reminded of White Castle, but not as good.

We stumbled in here as we drove through town. Awesome food, shakes. The best part was hanging out with the friendly locals! We definitely will be back! Excellent prices and customer service!

Staple in the surrounding area. Affordable, good food. Place is always busy so plan ahead. I really don't think anyone would complain of a small price increase to help them get either another location in the area or a bigger single location. It's not uncommon to have no standing room inside when waiting for orders.

Best burgers in the mid-west! Great service from the entire team! Probably the best value in the world! A must stop if you are driving anywhere near central Minnesota!

The burgers at val's are the best in town. Get a milkshake too! They got a lot of flavors, french fries are 10/10. And service is great and it's simple to order.
