Staff here is wonderful, I hit the juice bar at least once a week and grab a sandwich or salad to go. Thank you so much for having a fresh juice bar in the southern burbs!

I bring my little kids here and unleash them. The staff here has no idea how to handle kids, which I find amusing for some reason.Vegetable selection is nice, but the quality is hit or miss. Fruit section is good.Pre-made food section is ok, they basically make ~6 dishes and rotate them.My go-to place for healthy selections.I gave them 3 stars because quality is really hit or miss with their vegetables.

It is a nicely located store with ample parking, hot food bar, salad bar, quality produce, hygiene products, freshly made desserts, organic productsMeats, gourmet items fresh but are very expensive and a specialty food store for many items and those who eat organic. I did not do five stars because they are pricey. Cannot imagine feeding your family weekly there. I enjoyed the aisles of body care products and natural remedies. Wry friendly staff

As a resident in Burnsville near here for a year and now a gardener via the Farm to Table program, any person nearby just needs to go shop here. If you care about yourself or indulge in self-care at all, this unique store has whatever you need.I love trying many new items for my overall health. The list is endless. Thankful to the owners for being here for my needs. Check out the outdoor area, too.

Stopped in for some of their delicious cookies. Looks like the construction is all done. The store has a brand new look on the inside. I like the new look of the isles, it doesn't seem so crowded any more. Good customer service as well, the cashier told us to enjoy our cookies as we left.

Charming little co-op in the area! Recently finding myself in Burnsville often these days due to my Irishman being here for work, I'm so glad we found this gem given we're both huge fans of co-op shopping and dining dates both.An entire area of the store is currently completely barebones construction which is actively being worked on throughout normal business hours - pretty awesome to witness through its changes as we keep coming back on our soup dates.Yes, we have soup dates.I'm a huge fan of co-ops, but I often find that co-op cooking aren't always in line with my taste preferences. Too salty, too seasoned, too this, too that. As much as I hate to admit it, between the co-ops I've eaten at and Whole Foods, WF just does it better, so I end up eating there more. And then I met Valley Natural Foods. I can't speak to the hot deli offerings just yet, though the chicken curry from the Indian-themed hot bar on this particular night gave off such an enticing aroma of spices - om nom nom! The soup bar, though. They had bone broth as an offering - so awesome and exactly what I was craving, though I'd love to ask about their process and simmering time. Being under the weather at present, I mixed equal ladles of bone broth with chicken wild rice for a customized soup option to support my current health needs. It more than hit the spot. Some of the soups were very undersalted even by my beyond-mild taste buds - as in I could enjoy the faint sweetness of plain rice even with no accomplishments. Having taken care of a friend's elderly dad who suffered edema along other illnesses, I appreciated the fact that this opened the soup offerings up for far more individuals who may not have been able to enjoy the soups otherwise due to sodium limitations. Besides, I like having the option to control my savory enhancers between sea salt, amino acids, and nutritional yeast. In fact, should I find a Valley Natural Foods suggestion box, my first entry would likely be a request for these three seasonings be added to the food bar or dining area. The salad bar is of course modest in comparison to WF, but it's more than serviceable and tended to quite attentively. We love adding veggies to our soups for a boost of nutrition and detoxifiers, and the selection here does not leave us wanting, though I do admit to having been spoiled by the array of toppers at WF between nuts, seeds, spices, and the like. The hot bar and juice bar are on my list to try, but the weather has me coming back to the soup bar every time, at least for now. The grocery store itself is lovely. The selection of kombucha and kefir is amazing, and there's a selection of kombucha on tap. The produce is fresh and vibrant. The service is friendly and informative. And on my very first visit, the very products I was looking for from the brand I was looking to try was entirely on sale at a full $2.00 per - win! Who knows, I just may join the co-op!

My first time here. I live in South Minneapolis, so coming this way is definitely not the norm. I usually go to whole foods for their large organic selections, but was in the area, so wanted to support a local food co op. The store has a lot of space, but not sure if it is the supply chain issue or not, but they seem to not have used their spaces very well. Some area are super cluttered, like the bulk section...dang, that space gives me a feeling of claustrophobia. I guess no business can compete with Amazon, but I would expect the friendliness and great service to make up for that. They have a good selection of fresh produce, but I guess I have a Whole Foods comparison mindset, so noticing their prices to be a lot higher. At least Whole Foods employees seem to enjoy their work and seem so much happier and friendlier than this place. Every employee onsite seemed very uptight. I went to their cafe area...stood their for some time, got totally ignored. No ..."I will be right with you" whatsoever. The overall feel of the store is just not very welcoming. I want to like you, but today's experience will most certainly make it my last time coming here.
