Ullsperger Brewing

For a newer brewery their beer keeps impressing me. Recently loved the pumpkin beers they released and I'm not a huge pumpkin flavor person! Such a friendly staff, owner is always present and involved - small space but might community and beer! Easy to order takeout food close by or bring your own!

My wife and I were on our weekly new restaurant Saturday lunch and got some pizza across the street from here and brought it over since they have a dollar off a beer if you bring it over.We entered an the bartender was super fun and talkative and I ordered an IPA. Good stuff. It is a pretty small place and a Packer bar. (Yes, I still gave them 5 stars) I ordered the peanut butter and coffee beer for the second one. The place in Montgomery had more Reese's flavor. This one could have used more peanut butter, but it wasn't bad a t all.They had stickers for my brother-in-law and gave me discounts, good beer and fun equals five stars. Thanks Ullsperger!

I have been waiting to try Ullsberger's all summer - so I am so glad they finally opened! This location is convenient and has a large lot shared with the plaza. The brewery is cozy, with about 20ish seats and it was pretty much filled when I went in. Luckily we were able to grab a spot and try some drinks! I got the Coconut Pete which is a cream ale. It was a pretty solid drink with notes of pineapple and coconut. I also snagged a sip of the stout which was also tasty. Super great drink going into winter!They have a nice selection of games to play while you hang out. Overall, solid little place. I'm excited to stop by again as they continue to add brews!

I've been wanting to try this place since before they opened the hours listed here show 3 PM on a Tuesday but the sign on the place says 4 PM which is fine. I waited until well after four and they're still not open so I'm leaving Better Luck Next Time.

Opened not too long ago in St. Louis Park, MN in a strip mall is Ullsperger Brewing. They have a nice cozy space with a small system with plenty of fermenters to let them roll in new beers and a large variety. I tried a flight of all 7 beers they had available to get a taste for what they are doing.I had:- Beermosa Ale | Hazy Pale- Oktoberfest | Marzen- Good Rats | Irish Stout- Home Run Haze | Hazy IPA- Hawk Hefeweizen | Hefeweizen- Fall Feels | Pumpkin Brown Ale- CoCoNuT Pete | Cream AleMy favorites of the bunch were definitely the Hefeweizen and the Irish Stout.The Hefe had a beautiful banana and clove character that didn't overwhelm the bready malt body. It wasn't artificial tasting and definitely made me feel like sitting in a German Biergarten. The Irish Stout was bitter, bold, and chocolatey. The bitterness definitely hit you in a way you see most brewers fade away from in their stouts, but they rocked this beer.With so much variety, I am interested to see what they put out next!_____

Yay!! I'm so excited this microbrewery opened in St Louis Park!We checked it out on their opening day and we were quite impressed! Nice space with good seating (only seats about 15). Friendly staff and good beers!I really enjoyed their blonde ale and IPA.We will be back!

Inaugural visit today. Easy parking since it's in a strip mall, tucked right in the corner. I like that the entire front "wall" is floor to ceiling windows, lots of natural light! Just a little place, a bar of seating along the exterior "wall" and bar seating along the bar, then there are four regular height tables in the middle. While I was there there were up to 10 of us in there, so several conversations but it wasn't too loud. I wasn't watching it, there's a tv on the wall w a large Simpsons quote next to it, so I'm assuming it was a season of the show being streamed. There is one bathroom in the back, so you get a look at the brew house as you pass down the hall. I liked all the Halloween decorations, not too over the top but festive. There were four beers on tap so I ordered a flight of them all. I started w the Hawk Hefeweizen, flavor was a pretty standard light-esque beer. Next I had the Home Run Haze, theirs was my least favorite of the four, I didn't care for the flavor, it wasn't bad just not my jam. Next up was the Oktoberfest, a good one, could go ahead to head w most that I've had. The last was the Good Rats dry Irish Stout. This one was hands down my favorite. Had I not had a dinner meeting I would have ordered a pint of it. I appreciated that the beers were all pretty low ABV, the highest was a reasonable 7.9%. The friendly owner was the beertender. Confirmed my thought when I asked where the name came from, is it your name? I have a brewery sticker collection so I noticed he had a roll of stickers on the merch stand for Free, so I grabbed a couple. I appreciated that when I was getting ready to leave he commented "the stickers are free if you want to take one." He had a few snacks available for purchase. I'll keep my eye on their website to see when new beers are tapped. I appreciate that it lists: On Tap, Fermenting & what's next! Cheers

I love that this place is local, but there is a lot of work to do on the beer quality. Tried samples of most of the beers and they were sub-standard. Had a glass of the Octoberfest which was the best of the bunch. Nice, cozy environment, so I hope the quality improves. Would love a great local brewery to visit, but rough start out of the gates.

good beer and excellent service By Shaunna. PAC MAN is free and always fun to play. There are many other games as well. Packer bar, UND bar (go fighting sioux), highly recommend Home Run Haze.
