I love this spot just barely out in the country West of Plymouth. They have a cute little farm stand with lots of tomatoes, herbs, and other garden goodies. During regular times they have fantastic pizza weekends where you can order from their limited pizza menu and enjoy a picnic pizza on their farm! They also sometimes have fresh flower bouquets for sale. Definitely follow them on Instagram for all of the cool happenings and sale info!!

Made a decision to check out Two Pony Gardens after going through such great reviews from yelp. Flavorful menu items and outstanding service. Everything that I have actually tried has been really tasty. Bonus that their service is so good, they are so quick and polite. I just wish I lived closer so I could be a regular at Two Pony Gardens.

RIDE IT, MY PONY. Pardon my Ginuwine reference... but I had to.Pizza farms seem to be the cool new thing in the Twin Cities, so my family decided to venture out to Two Pony Farms to try things out. Venture out is an exaggeration, as Two Pony Farms is actually one of the much closer farms churning out delicious pizza in the area. It's only about 15 minutes outside of Minneapolis. To start off, make sure you come prepared. First off, you need to make a "reservation," but you can basically come at any time. Bug spray is key- you're here in the middle of the woods. Also- bring beer, wine, salad, dessert- just make sure you clean up.Like I said, we were new to this whole pizza farm thing, so there were definitely lots of surprises, these being the main three:1. The babies. There are so many little kids and babies, guys. It's definitely a fun family-friendly activity, especially when you bring other families along. There are pony rides for the kids, a dahlia garden to explore, and green space for kids to run along as parents sip wine. But man, I was not expecting so many kids. Almost felt bad cracking open an Oberon in front of them.2. The wait. The oven is small, and we ended up waiting around an hour and a half for the pizza. Luckily, we grabbed some salads from Punch on the way to have as a starter, but just make sure you're prepared to wait. There were some families that left without getting pizza because they were so infuriated (like, seriously?). Bring a game or bring some drankz and you'll be fine. There's a lot of people there, so there's other waits too- mainly for the bathroom (guys, use the woods). 3. The deliciousness. I guess when pizza is coming straight from a farm you should expect delicious quality pizza, but I was pleasantly surprised. The pizzas are a little small for their $18 price (THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH DOMINO'S YOU COULD GET WITH THAT) but you can tell the ingredients are top-notch and all 4 pizzas we got were immediately gobbled up. Highly suggest making a trek out to the farm for a summer outing. It's not a thing you should be doing regularly, but it's always fun to try something new.

Pizza Farming only a half hour from home on a Saturday night? SOLD. Reservations only though. Also, only two kinds of pizza. And a really slow line. But no bother! You're at a PIZZA FARM. And everyone is HAPPY. Check out the pictures on their website. It rained on our reservation night which of course sucked, but everyone found corners in the house which was really quite cozy.I'm trying to think of the best strategy. And I wonder how early they let people get in line bc by 5:15 on a rainy day, there was already a 45 minute wait for pizza which only got longer. Be ready for a wait. Maybe if you don't have kids, wait until 6 or so to even show up? If you do have kids, arrive early and bring lots of snacks? The pizza was GOOD. It seems they only do cheese + one speciality per night. I'm up for most things, but I just dont like melon on pizza. Also, I gotta say the pizzas were smaller than I expected.I can't wait to go back next year.

Move aside other Twin City pizzas, there's some new competition in town. This pizza is set to win hearts with its quality ingredients and flavorful wood-fired taste. Bring appetizers, because you can expect to wait for about 2 hours if you are not the first person in line. They can only cook one pizza at a time, so plan for that. We brought salad, chips, drinks, and board games. Also important to bring a lantern and/or candles, since it gets dark after the sun goes down (who knew?!).As for that pizza... I had the mind-blowing special. Melon, sweet pepper, onion, prosciutto, and cheese!!!! That sweetness paired with the salty prosciutto... I'm speechless. This pizza will haunt my dreams, it was so good. If given the opportunity, you must go and experience the Two Pony Gardens on pizza night. Make a reservation at least a month in advance, bring cash or pay ahead, and come prepared. The drive out to Long Lake is well worth the experience.

I've been reading about pizza farms for about two years now, longing to actually go. All of the ones I read about previously were far away and only open on weekdays, making it hard to get there, especially with a toddler. Then I found out about Two Pony Gardens, located in Long Lake and open on Saturdays! I decided to promptly make a reservation. The farm is about 30 minutes from the Twin Cities, and definitely kid friendly. I would recommend getting there by 5:00 pm at the latest. We arrived at 5:15 pm and there was already a pretty long line and we had to wait an hour for our pizza. The nice thing is there is plenty to do while you wait. You can wander through the dahlia garden or take a carriage ride. One other thing, make sure to bring bug spray (we forgot...).You also need to bring all of your own utensils, blankets, etc and pack up your trash when you leave. The pizzas are $18 a piece and aren't huge so I would also recommend bringing some other food and drinks with you.We ordered the margarita pizza and it was very tasty, made with all fresh ingredients! They also have one other option available that changes every weekend. This time it had prosciutto, mushrooms and greens. If you are looking for a fun, family-friendly outing, I would definitely recommend this!

Really, really good. It's quite a drive, but fun to make an evening out of it. Bring lawn chairs, a small table if you have a group, and beverages. We brought a blanket to sit on the grass. The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven. It is self serve and they continually make pizzas until everyone is full. We did not run into a line or slow serving. We went on morel mushroom night and all of the mushroom lovers said it was excellent. I loved the mushroom-free pizza, too.
