So we were so happy we went a little off the beaten path to find this place for a Friday nite fish fry on our way to Minong. The fish was great, both fried and steamed. . .yes try the steamed . . You won't regret it. The coleslaw was not awesome but the old fashioned was great. Ambiance needs a little help but for a quaint little bar. . .we had a nice time and great service.

Best Friday fish fry in Western Wisconsin. Great fish, great service and a great slice of Americana. You must try it.

Two Acres Supper Club is not closed. We went there on August 29 for my husband's birthday. The food was fabulous. I would highly recommend this place.

We live 31 miles from this restaurant and we had a Friday fish fry here a bit ago. We were looking for a place that was a good example of a Wisconsin supper club and had a good Wisconsin Friday fish fry. The Two Acres Supper Club had none of the characteristics that define a good one. It is a bar that has tables for eating. No relish tray, no rolls, no warm decor, etc. The price was a dollar less than our "usual" at our favorite place but the plates were small (I assume to make it look like more food), lots of decent french fries, and two pieces of fairly good fish -- each about two inches square. That is about 1/4 the fish we are used to. We are old folks but we were able to eat it all with nothing left. We are used to enough fish and potato to feed us a full meal at home the next day. One little bowl of cole slaw that we shared. No other food of any kind on the table. The fries and fish appeared to be chosen to avoid all labor in the kitchen except to move the stuff from the freezer to the hot oil. A real dud. Sorry, but we will not be bring our relatives to your fish fry. I would advise doing some cooking and making the presentation at least pleasant. Did we see you on an off night?
