Stop #53 on our Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Brewery Tour A very solid 4 star visit. We were quickly greeted, offered suggestions & samples. I wasn't crazy about the oktoberfest (keep in mind, I go to Germany a lot & am a beer snob) but we thoroughly enjoyed both IPA options & the vanilla porter No food options here - aside from packaged snacksI loved the multiple entrances & seating options - as well as the dedicated parking lot. It was open & airy.

Really good local beers. I had the maple brown and blueberry blonde and both were tasty. Husband enjoyed a couple of porters. Nice space, inside and out. Kid and dog friendly. We had some seasoned pretzels they sell there with our beers. Really good (zesty herb). Saw sign they have frozen pizzas too (locally made). Free WiFi was nice. Seltzers and 1919 root beer also on draft. TVs in the place, adequate service.

It takes a lot for me to write a poor review, but after visiting a second brewery the same day it solidified how poor our experience was. A previous review hit it on the head, but it should have solidified it for me when the bartender gave no suggestions, alluded that she didn't want to be there and didn't offer to open a tab when we first ordered. It's such a little thing, but it's red flag to me when a bartender doesn't ask if you want to keep it open. The beer was subpar, but for being fairly new it was something I was willing to look past as most new breweries are still working to find their groove. However, as I got further down in my beer I found that my glass didn't have a small lipstick stain, but a full lower lip imprinted right where I had been drinking. The bathroom wasn't filthy but wasn't clean and was a stark difference to the dark bar. We then watched as the bartender helped herself to popcorn and ate it while she watched another round of patrons read the menu, without offering any assistance. I grew up in the service industry and if any of these things had been the only negative, I'd have looked past it and likely given a 3/4 star review. Service and cleanliness can make all the difference.

Nice and cozy little brewery. They have a decent beer selection so you should fine something to enjoy. The staff is friendly and prices are normal for a brewery. I would say this is a place I'd go to once in a while but the other two brewery's near by have a more flavorful beer list.

Small and delicious new microbrewery. Friendly ownership and staff. Pretty drive just on the other side of Taylor's Falls (Wisconsin side). They are going to do well!

Stopped in yesterday. Built a flight of Devils Chair, Vanilla Porter, Whitetail Blonde, & The Closest Thing...all were great. I liked the small, dark bar... def made you feel like you were in a small town. The beertender was very friendly and helpful in determining what beers to pick. Thanks Trap Rock, cheers!

Very nice brewery just a block away from Woolly Bike Trailhead, which leads to the Gandy Dancer Trail. Brews after a long bike is my idea of winning! Neighborly vibe in the outside seating area-other beer patrons asking about the fall colors on the trails (fantastic!). Dogs are welcome here, as well as sweaty bicyclists. Food truck was also a treat, a welcome spot of good food! Vanilla Porter is a must-try! They also have tap 1919 Root Beer for the non-drinkers.
