Timber Valley Grill

Mid-day on a Friday and there are about eight people in here. It took me 10 minutes just to get waited on, and then it's been almost an hour and I still have not gotten my Rachel sandwich. I would not advise it unless you have lots of time to kill.

This place provided everything our gang was looking for. We were on a road trip from Mpls to Milaca on a Friday night and wanted a place where we could have quick turn around meal and head back home. It was everything we were looking for.. fine service, beverages and food and a nice visiting atmosphere and a little live music. Thank you. Your staff really worked hard and I don't have even one compaint.. everyone was satisfied with their food orders (and we really can be a picky bunch).

Our class of 1970 meets at TVG the 2nd Wednesday of the month. We have had the best waitresses and no one has ever complained about the food. Service was fast and very pleasant.

Foods ok, but nothing special. If you eat here, you may wanna go to bank first as they're the most expensive place around

I ordered 2 of their brunch burgers with no onions on either one for my daughter and I. Get home with the to go order and both had onions on them. I called up, thinking they would re-offer to make them, but nope. I got told they would talk to the cook and then they hung up. It's just disappointing when you pay those prices for something and you don't get it, and then get tossed aside like that. My daughter and I both have allergies to certain things and now we both have to medicate before we can eat them...even after picking the onion off.

We decided we're going to go find a good spot for dinner in Milaca sweet ride Timber Valley we've been here once before but not really impressed and this one totally settled it. I asked for Philly cheese steak but they were out of roast beef so I quickly changed my mind to have a nice steak and I asked for it to be medium little bloody..Hour goes by we received our food my stake mood at me and tried to run away... The vegetables were cold and the bun was hard as a rock we asked politely if we could have them put it back on the grill well we ate the other stuff on her plate. a half hour later they returned with our steak this time it was as good as it should have been the first time. They then insisted that they took off some money for the meal which normally would have been $21 what's now 19.95 G-thanks with only three tables in the restaurant we were there for a total. Of an hour and a half to eat one meal unacceptable go elsewhere

I just stopped in there for the 1st time a couple of days ago and had what is called the "Haystack Burger". It came with their 'hand-cut fries' that were very good. The burger was what really impressed me, however. The beef was very flavorful and slightly juicy... just the way I like it and the bacon was tasty, crisp and smelled fantastic. The price was about what I expected - not cheap but reasonable. My food got there rather quickly so I was happy about that 'cause I was hungry. I'll definitely be going back to try one of the other burgers on the menu.

Used to go weekly. Prices continue to raise. After our last visit, we will never go back. $17 steak salad had 5 small pieces of unseasoned steak, one of which was all gristle. My black and blue burger ($15) had so little blue cheese, you couldn't even taste it. We mentioned it to our waitress. She said cook claimed she weighed steak at 5 ounces (no way it was) and simply said its how the owner wants it.

It's physically a nice place. The food is pretty good but they are super, super slow. We hadn't gone there in a while because of that and tried it again for lunch and they were still really slow and we were late back to work. If you've got plenty of time give it a try, if your time limited go somewhere else. 3/2019 we go there fairly often now as it's really close to our house. They have sped up considerably. The owner is there all the time now and is checking with people to make sure things are alright. 2/2020- it took 1 hour and 20 minutes from when we sat down to when we paid and walked out. The place is a solid 3-4 in the evenings but is a 0 fro breakfast. They plain suck. They're slow. The service is horrible. DON'T GO THERE for BREAKFAST!
