Thomas Lake Cleaners

We have been going to Thomas Lake cleaners since the late 80's when they opened. Mike and Reese are two of the best customer service reps we have dealt with. They treat all their customers with respect and bend over backwards to provide great service. Note all of the awards they have received.Twelve years ago we moved to Apple Valley and we still drive past three other cleaners to get there.Disregard the isolated comments from the whiners who gave weak reviews. There are thousands who disagree and have been going to TLC since they opened.

So lucky to have this great family business.....they always do great work - over the last 20 years we have never had anything but great service and quality work!

I cannot believe how rude and unprofessional these people were. I went in there with a down comforter that my cat had peed on. I had already sprayed it with an enzyme solution, and I asked them if they could try to get the smell out. One clerk was asking me about the spot, and the second was interrupting him and making gestures at me to "hurry up" and give him my phone number. Then, when they got all of my information, they decided that they "didn't want to try it" and advised me to throw it away and buy a new one. Considering a new down comforter starts around $150.00, I would at least like to TRY cleaning this one!I immediately drove to a different dry cleaner and the lady there was very kind and said that they have special cleaning solutions that they can use on the material to try and lift the stain and smell. She was more than happy to take my comforter and clean it for me.

I don't think I've ever given a business 1 star, but this was a doozy. Brought a suit in for cleaning as well as a few of my work staples while I was in town for work. They were unable to clean my items over the weekend, so I had to pick them up on Monday - the day I was flying out. My crisp white shirt had smudges of pink all over it - likely from something else they were cleaning (not mine) that was red. My expensive navy dress looked like it had soap scum on it. My plaid skirt is so full of static that I am embarrassed to wear it in my professional work environment. I had 4 items and it cost $60. I couldn't bring it back to complain because I had to get on a flight and only looked at my items when I reached my next stop on my trip. I am so upset with this cleaner.

Where to begin...If you like to be treated like a garbage can then this is the place for you! The gentleman I assume from previous users posts to be the same guy, is mean, unprofessional, and a grouch. (a real Peach)Whatever you do you, DO NOT ask about pricing or try and explain what the problem is on your garment (he already knows it all and gets upset when talking about prices). As another user listed below, it appears his go-to line once he decides he doesn't like you after a brief and hurried encounter (because he is so busy), is to "recommend that you go elsewhere for your cleaning needs," real top notch custom service and professionalism out of this one...Save yourself the time and head to the next closest dry-cleaner, unless of course, you don't like to know how much you are paying or what you are paying for all while being yelled it. The man who checked me in (owner's father?) was very nice . When I picked up my dry cleaning, a different older man at the counter was yelling at another employee about the "f***ing routing tag".He was very unpleasant to me and threw my credit card on the counter, never apologizing for his bad behavior. I will never go back there again.

If I could give this cleaners zero stars, I would. The people who run this dry cleaner are the rudest, most unprofessional people in the world. Not only that, buyer beware! They don't list their prices and arbitrarily will charge different prices for the same item. They may remember your name from one visit to the next, but big deal. They're rude, arrogant jerks and their cleaning is no better than anyone else's. I will NEVER go again! The rude, vulgar manager (Michael?) also threw my card at me when I asked about something, telling me I should "find another dry cleaner." Awful and inexcusable. How this cleaner has stayed in business all these years is a miracle.
