The Woodbury Cafe

We were surprised to find this was not a traditional cafe but more Mexican food inspired. However it was a pleasant surprise as the food turned out to be yummy (after some added seasoning). We ordered huevos rancheros and the biscuits and gravy as well as a paleo bowl. The food was slightly under seasoned. The hash browns that came with the meals were not seasoned at all. Once we added some salt and pepper the food was good. Service could have been better but overall it was a nice brunch.

Best breakfast in Woodbury!! Came here for a work outing and everyone enjoyed their food! Our server was very nice and our food came out very quick. Of all the times I've been here I've never had anything bad, I'm usually surprised how quick it disappears...This place gets busy on weekends but it's not that long of a wait.Parking lot is huge!!

My first time visiting MN and the cafe was convenient for our group. We were seated promptly and given water to start. I ordered the crab cakes, and they were so filling, I took one with me for leftovers. Orange juice tasted fresh, too. Service was wonderful throughout. The restroom was clean. I love all the snoopy decor, both inside and outside with the giant statues. It was a fun place for breakfast in a nice, clean shopping center.

Food was good and it was good value. They get really busy on the weekends, so be prepared to wait.The cream cheese frosting on the cinnamon rolls are to die for.

Surprising find. Got the carnitas breakfast tacos. It was delicious. Filled to the brim with proteins and fixin's. Delicious flavors, cooked well. Not spicy so just added my own sauce.Service was great. Lots of servers working. Our server was great, friendly, quick.Ambiance is typical cafe. Quick in and out. Lots of seating for all different sizes. We would be back if in the area again, happy eating!

Excellent food and great service. I would go there again, but I'm only in Minnesota for a vacation. If it is still there when I come to this area again, it will be on my list of places to eat.

So... this was just okay. Nice staff, but just not wowed. We tried this place at my son's request for his 18th birthday because he wanted to try the chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes. Seemed a little chaotic and handwritten signs about a bathroom remodel and excuse the current condition. Our table wasn't very clean either. Our server was sweet and brought a complimentary cinnamon roll with sprinkles added for our son. So sweet!The food was good, not jaw dropping. The pancakes were super dense and honestly could be shared by two. The Cajun Benedict was great, but I was thinking the andouille would be ground or sliced, but it was a very thin "patty". Sausage and gravy was good. Not as flavorful as others.The walleye breakfast did not disappoint! My husband said it was excellent. This could be worth a try, but we still prefer Keys Cafe.

How have I not reviewed this place? We love it here! We visit at least once a month to enjoy their fresh breads and pastries, fresh squeezed orange juice, and friendly service. Don't be scared by any lines; it's a pretty big restaurant and the waits aren't usually long. I always always always make an omelette with a side of their fluffy sourdough toast. My date this round always always always gets a chocolate chip cookie dough pancake. They are a favorite with our kids! We were in and out in about 30 minutes which is so great for antsy kiddos. We keep coming back again and again.

Fantastic options and flavors. I had carnita benedict and my spouse had machara(eggs scrambled with beef, peppers and onions and he said it was delicious! Service excellent, informative kind server.
