A meal and some pints here is the perfect end to a day on a magnificent course. The food tastes like a reward for crushing bombs down the fairway; although I golfed pretty bad and felt unworthy of every bite of my meal. They reassured me though - they cook every meal perfectly, even for the bad golfers. NOW THATS QUALITY SERVICE!

With summer winding down, three golf buddies and I decided it was time to get together for a golf weekend. So, we booked a Saturday tee time at The Legends, a hotel for Saturday evening, an 8am tee time on Sunday at The Meadows at Mystic Lake, and a 2:20 tee time at The Wilds for Sunday as well. Our plan was to eat at The Wilds between rounds, too.Anyway, we got everything booked successfully two weeks in advance, including prepaid hotel and golf at Mystic, so our itinerary was locked. Two days after booking, I get a call from The Wilds telling me we can't have the 2:20 tee time on Sunday because they have an outing, so we can't play. Apparently, this was a "glitch". The only options I received was to cancel our round entirely or play at 7:50am before their outing. Since this was their error, I asked if they'd honor the afternoon rate (which is what I booked) for the 7:50 tee time..."no, it'll be at full price" was the response I received. Needless to say, I didn't accept that option. So, that left me with only the cancellation option.Ultimately, we really wanted to give The Wilds a try and went on to make additional prepaid reservations with the confirmation of our round at The Wilds, so it's disappointing this situation occurred. Unfortunately, given this situation and the overall lack of any attempt to right a wrong on The Wilds' part, it's doubtful we'll ever play here.

I have played the Wilds a number of times and really enjoy the track. The course has always been very well maintained, has good practice facilities and a fun layout. That said, this can be a course that will frustrate you on your first round, as it does have a number of blind and misleading shots. The location isn't great for me, but it does make for a good excuse to stop by the casino afterwards and donate some money to the blackjack gods. They also have simulators during the winter - they're not the best, but it's a fine option if you happen to live nearby and are jonesiing to hit some balls. All in all, it's certainly a course I'll continue to play over the years.

I have to say, I was a bit disappointed as I assumed the ambience would be better. Now that I see Pub in the name, my mistake.Legends which isnt far has a beautiful restaurant so I assumed it would be similiar. We just moved to the area and were looking for a nice place to bring our visiting family. I think if you go in knowing its a pub you wont be disappointed but still, I think Pub - I think something with grand mirrors, great wood etc.~ this had icky chairs, garbage cans sitting in plane sight and smelled bad and I mean bad. It was raining otherwise I would think sitting outside would be ideal. Food was just okay, there was hair in our mac and cheese and food orders were wrong for kids and had to be sent back. I will never go back there even though, I could walk there it is so close to the house.I guess if guys are golfing and drinking, they wont care as much

I have always been quite pleased with my meals when I come here.Yesterday I came here in the evening and ordered the lobster macaroni and cheese... which was very good! Good lobster... very cheesy... mmmmm..... In the past I've gotten their Caesar salad with grilled shrimp before, which is very good also. This is a small place within a golf club that I think few people know about. Definitely check it out! It's a little noisy when there are a lot of people there, but not too bad.The place itself is clean, and it has very nice restrooms.I definitely would recommend this place!

We come here frequently on Wednesdays for their burger special. They are delicious and a great deal! I believe they start at $5.99 for a standard hamburger (LT) with fries and then it's $1 for additional toppings.
