The Tavern Grill

I adore being able to use the rice noodles as a substitute for pasta. Mainly because as a GF eater, most GF pasta substitutes at other resturants are the exact same. Way to stand out Tavern. I also just like the customizable options. This is also located directly next to my favorite hotel lol. Service is top tier and the ambiance is inviting and makes me happy to return every time.

Old school Tavern with a good menu of American classics & pizza. I tried their teriyaki salmon with pineapple & it was quite interesting.

I always enjoy The Tavern Grill. Each time I come here everything is always good. Not anything extraordinary, nothing bad, just good. If you plan on coming to The Tavern restaurants often, I recommend joining the Tavern Grill Club, it's a great deal! I somehow joined for free when they first opened in Woodbury but now I believe it's a one time $20 charge. Once you sign up you receive 20% off your bill and can get a 25oz beer for $4.75! Such a great deal! I have never ordered anything there that I didn't like. They have great build your own bloody mary, salad, or burger. Plus a ton of other options in their menu. One tip though, if you order the waffle fries you have to get the seasoned sour cream!

We are longtime patrons of the tavern and I've come to really love their food and their service. Beer selections are good. Patio is wonderful in the summer. My favorite is their Buffalo chicken sandwich, which was off the menu for quite some time but believe is now back on the menu it's excellent.

Hands down one of the best meals I've had out to eat. Their cheese curds with Sriracha ranch were the best outside the Minnesota State Fair. My Reuben with seasoned waffle fries and my bride's gyro were both phenomenal. Generous portions and very flavorful. Service was terrific. I would return again and again if I lived closer. It was that good.

I have been here 2 times now in June. the ambiance is Top-notch! Sit outside on their huge patio with the outside bar service or indoors for a private, quiet ambiance. I love their Build Your own Burger! Want to build a salad or a pizza? You hit the jackpot! Maybe a sweet & savory salmon on Jasmin rice? Superb! The drink menus are top-notch! This place is a hidden gem in Woodbury. It's right next to the Sheraton Hotel & There's usually not a wait.

Went here yesterday for happy hour and dinner. First we sat in our booth for a good 10-15min before we just had to flag someone down to take a drink order. The restaurant had not become busy at this time of 4:30PM. After that our waiter was ok, reasonably attentive but not very engaged in the promotion of your products.We also ordered a large takeout meal for the family. Got it home and overall everyone was happy. I however ordered the meatloaf. This was the driest most bland meatloaf I've ever eaten. There was very little gravy smothering it and just had no standout flavor to any of it. Definitely don't recommend for the price of this place. The broccoli had a weird cheese that was more like a wax topping. Literally peeled it off the top and set it aside as it did not melt throughout the broccoli. Draft beer selection is minimal so don't go here expecting a robust selection. Don't think I will be going here too often. Cheese curds were tasty.

After the waitress brought out beverages to the table we waited for her return to take our order, it was about 20 minutes before I decided to leave. The restaurant was not busy and after getting the drinks we never saw the waitress again. ( this was a terrible experience)

What was supposed to be a well done burger came to our table as medium maybe...it was really red in the middle. The fries seemed like they were old. Could barely bite through them. The service was awful. We didn't get refills, except once when I had to flag the lady down. Then it took her 15 min to bring the drink back. We went for an early dinner...so not too crowded while we were there. We tried to get the one burger dinner removed from our ticket because we didn't have time to wait on another since the first time so long to get to our table. Then it took 3 people over 30 min to get our check(one of them being a manager that was zero help). We will not be back here. Extremely disappointing experience.

We were there for a drink and appetizers after an early movie finish about 6 pm on Saturday night. We were seated in a booth right away and the atmosphere was very nice with lots of families with children. Unfortunately, I won't be going back. The establishment has the most unpleasant payment experience I have ever had anywhere. Our pleasant server presented our bill to us on her payment pad (the only payment option). The pad showed a Total dollar amount (pay by credit card only) not sure how they would handle a cash payment), and your choice of a tip of 20%, 25%, or 30% or Custom amount, before you even saw if the items that you ordered were actually correct. The server was forced to stand over you as you went through the whole payment process under her watchful gaze. After you inserted your card into the pad, the system offered to email a receipt IF you gave them your email account which then signed you up for their junk-mail loyalty program. (again without listing the items and prices of the products that you may or may not have received). I did receive an email with the "welcome" to the loyalty program by the time I got home, but again without an itemized list. I am still waiting for an itemized list.The french onion soup was very good. The spinach, artichoke dip was a mess of melted cheese over a mixture of sun-dried tomato and dried spinach flakes, mixed in sweet Campbell's cheese soup, served with a generous number of slices stale french bread smeared with garlic butter. (I didn't find any artichoke in the sweet cheese soup concoction.)We shared a slice of heavily frosted carrot cake, which was a sliver about one half inch thick laid flat down on a plate with a rounded dip of vanilla ice cream and two rounded dips of whipped cream or maybe vanilla cool whip on top of the sliver of carrot cake with a small syrup pitcher of a caramel colored liquid on the side to poor on top if you wanted the full diabetic shock treatment.My straight-up martini was served in a regular martini glass that was barely half full. (not sure if the waitress spilled some of the drink on the way to our table or if that was the way it is made here (4 to 6 oz). My wife's mocktail was about half simple syrup and cranberry cocktail mix with a slice of frozen fig shoved on top as garnish.
