The Quarry Taphouse

While on jury duty I had an hour lunch break so I stopped into the Quarry. Brilliant Feels like it has been here a long time with such a cozy and super friendly service. My server said they have been here two years. I had the blue burger and tots both were outstanding. Decided not to have a drink due to being on jury duty...Hastings is pretty!! The Quarry is a Gem!!

Nice choice of beers on tap as well as bottles! Stopped in on a random wed night for dinner sat at the bar Wait staff friendly and attentive the entire time we were there! We had dinner I picked the pulled pork flatbed along with side salad yummy! Nicely prepared Hubby had wings Carolina gold sauce and Nashville hot ( and yes there was heat!) only downside no celery or carrots are available however the blue cheese is home made and delicious! The place was not crowded and it was clean and a friendly atmosphere! We will be back!

First time here based on a recommendation. Very comfortable space with a lot of tap selections and a varied menu. Service was excellent. After a couple of cold beers, we ordered the drunken sailor sandwich and the half rack of ribs. The cheese curds we had as an appetizer were 10 out of 10. Besides the housemade ranch there was a caramel dipping sauce with the cheese curds. Sounds crazy, but it was totally addictive! The sandwich and chips were very tasty. The ribs were exceptional as were the side dishes of coleslaw and mashed potatoes. Highly recommend!

So fun! I took my blue collar boy to this place & giggled the entire visit - the names of the mixed drinks were all so quirky & they truly have a place to unload your frustrations? Take all my money. Our server Elizabeth was sweet & patient and fast with delivering our food. I had the feta & spinach grilled cheese sandwich with chips & it was delicious. My husband stole half of my chips he was over the moon! The interior was warm & welcoming & we look forward to visiting again.

Great new spot in downtown Hastings. I hope they can pull through as this location seems to be a black hole for businesses, I wish you guys all the luck in the world!And maybe luck won't be needed. They make a pretty mean burger. I came here for a work meeting and tried their bacon and cheddar burger. The bacon on the burger was thick cut and yummy, which is a good sign they care about their food. The blue cheese dressing I got on the side for my tots was homemade, another great sign of a good place that cares for their food. The only gripe I will give is that you couldn't customize the doneness of your burger, all burgers are cooked to the same temp - done. I like my burgers medium rare but the patty wasn't overcooked in any way. This place is also home to a unique and interesting way of entertainment/ blowing off some steam. You can buy a bucket of rocks and throw them at different targets in a special "shoot gallery" (ha, I am not kidding you). For only $5 a bucket, maybe not such a bad way of spending a night after having one too many beers? There is also a workable crane or dozer if you want to become a Tonka Trucks kid again. Whatever suits your fancy, this place is a good place in downtown to grab a beer and burger.

Amazing service from Mallory! Thanks for the hardy suggestion of the Downeast Cider! Great recommendations especially for member of our bike group that were there for the first time! We had a blast in the Quarry Rock Range (a lot for fun for $1!).

LOVED this place. Happy hour made it feel like it's 2019. $5 craft taps, $3 rails. We didn't do any of the $5 HH food but looked good. We had burgers that were amazing. Dill burger of the month and Quarry burger.

Wanted to give the new place a try. Granted, I went in at the lunch time and it wasn't very busy at all; I'm thinking it picks up in the evening. Service was quick and friendly during lunch.I decided to try the totchos, since I wasn't too hungry. They were tasty, but I hope they consider doing an option to add beef or chicken (like regular nachos), as there was definitely something missing. The rest of the menu looked good and will come back to try the beer and cocktails!

Nice setting good food selections. The beans were fabulous. My pork carnitas taco was good nice to have the option of corn tortillas. My sister ordered chicken which did not have much flavor. Sat at the bar and service was good. Nice beer options

Flatbread was AMAZING with tons of pork!Caprese chicken sandwich was okay but the tots were great. Rock throwing in the back was a nice surprise and on Tuesdays it's FREE!!Nice large bar/restaurant with lots of seating and an outdoor patio as well!
