Parkside Restaurant & Bar

We like this place a lot. We liked it from the start and it's only continued to grow on us.It's not going to appeal to everyone. If you use the term 'dated' often to describe furnishings that are older than five years, this isn't the place for you. Looking for bold cuisine? Not here, move along.It does appeal to us: a laid back bar, friendly and hard-working staff, and an old-fashioned restaurant (or supper club) in back, with tables and chairs from the 1970s, much to the chagrin of other critics and probably at least some HGTV addicts. It's also a fun place to watch an American sporting match, including the Packers, when they're not blacked out by the imposter surrogate purple football team.The food is good: appetizers, pizzas, as well as our favorite, the salad bar. There's not much to the salad bar: it's small, but I happen to like what they have on it, including the two types of lettuce.Tap beer is around $3 a pint as of this decade (2019) and hopefully you can enjoy a Creamy Dark, like I do.Drop in and enjoy!

Nice waitress, great sweet potato fries, terrible au gratin, take the leftover potatoes off the menu. We ordered Walleye, I'd assume they maybe do better with burgers and fries. Hire another employee... waitress had to do it all, only person front of the house. Get one of your regulars to watch the bar so you can actually manage food, pretty sure no one is drinking fancy drinks. One star extra for being open during Covid.

Absolutely amazing Patty Melt! Fresh, not frozen beef, cheddar, grilled onions, perfectly seasoned. The seasoned waffle fries were great too. The pickles that come on the side were to die for and it was only like $8.50-$9.00.I might go back tomorrow for the fish fry! Only $11.50 all you can eat fish and unlimited soup/salad bar!

I decided to give the parkside another chance. What a mistake. I ordered the pecan crusted walleye with au graten potatoes. It also came with salad bar and a roll. To start with they didn't give any butter for my roll. The potatoes were brown,like 2 day old bakers with some shredded cheese on top. And the biggest disappointment was the walleye. It was dark almost burned on the outside and raw fish on the inside. I know better to eat at a place with a salad bar.

We were staying at a hotel in Baldwin and found out that Parkside Restaurant delivered to the hotel. We had walleye dinners and a side of potato salad. The fish was excellent. The veggie side seemed like it came from a frozen bag of veggies. Overall very tasty and excellent service!

If I could give no stars I would. The ribs were not only gross looking, you could not get the meat off the bone let alone cut them. Informed the staff and they did not even come to check them out. We were the only people in there. Not worth the stop

Came for the fish on Friday . It was Great . Nice salad Bar . Very clean and a Friendly Waitress Too . We can`t wait to come back for the Saturday , Steak Buffet .

I love their pizza! Great food at great prices, and they deliver! You have to try the spinach artichoke pizza it's amazing.

We came last night, and the OK service and dinner was horrendous! Not cooked RAW steak when we ordered medium. Also, the steaks were not seasoned they tasted like vegetable oil and ZERO seasoning!! We told one of the wait staff and she rolled her eyes at us. $38, plus $2 tip we will never return! Too bad, they used to care and used to be good. Lady at the bar with shoulder-length brown/black hair rolled her eyes and was VERY Rude and whomever your cook needs to be GONE!
