A teeny tiny tea shop amongst the busy-ness that is the skyway. So many teas to choose from! We stopped in for some loose leaf for home and I was overwhelmed and let the partner choose with the help of the employee present. I wish I'd looked harder since their prices are amazing and they had some nice sales going on too with a nice selection of tea accessories to browse. We have friends who order tea from them on the regular and love the reputation of this place ! It wasn't worth the single trip we took to the skyway for it because it was so small but if we buy from them in the future I was glad to know who and where they were.

Long overdue review on the most exceptional tea shop I've ever stepped foot in! Wonderful selection of teas from all over the world. Loose leaf teas in an abundancy of varietals . The staff is extremely helpful in their suggestions. Many teas available that I have never heard of but I cannot wait to try. Lots of tea accessories and gifts.

I came across this tiny tea shop on skywalk to La Salle bldg. They have today's special on the board. And those specials on the tap are really reasonable starting at $2.35 including tax. But the tea is actually high quality and tasty! The staffs are always so nice. I wish they had honey because I couldn't melt the sugar in my cold tea. They also have loose tea leave for sale. It is hard to know what kind they have tho, since there is no menu.

If you enjoy tea, get here! Despite the small, quiet, and unassuming space, there are a ton of tea brewing accessories to fawn over, and of course a huge variety of loose leaf tea. There is a small section for loose leaf tea on clearance, and they are a fantastic value. In addition, there are a few teas "on tap" that are already brewed and ready to drink. When I went, there were 4 options - a hot black tea, a hot green, a hot herbal, and an iced herbal. I was able to sample them all and they were all delicious and very affordable! The flavors seem to rotate frequently, so there's always something new to try. There's also a station if you want to add sweeteners. If you're not on the go, there is a table to sit at just outside the storefront. And finally, the person working there was extremely helpful and friendly! I am so glad this place exists and wish I had known about it earlier!

Northern Lights Tea co is a little hidden gem found amongst the skyways. If your a tea lover it's a must stop. They always have iced tea and hot tea on tap and they are always these amazing unique flavors that you won't find anywhere else. The ice tea is soooo good and has a lot of flavor, I even get it in the winter because I love it so much. You can also purchase tea and tea related items. Prices are a bit on the spendier side, but it is really good quality tea and I find it worth every penny.

Northern Lights is a bastion of calm in the high-energy currents of the Minneapolis Skyway. Aside from offering a quiet refuge, it also has awesome gourmet teas from around the world, and tea-ware, at reasonable prices. My favorite part of Northern Lights is its "on tap" varieties which change daily. I'm surprised that more tea shops don't have on-tap selections, as it draws you in, and gets you sampling stuff, which only makes you want to buy more. Best of all, the on-tap idea gets you exposed to types of tea that you otherwise might not try.Sandy, the owner, is amazingly friendly and helpful in helping you decide what kind of tea to get for yourself, a friend, or family member. Indeed, Sandy is the gentle sage of the Skyway, and makes for great conversation.Northern Lights is a winner and the gem of the Skyway.

I'm a tea drinker, not a coffee drinker. I don't drink coffee ever. This spot is my favorite tea shop in the TC. It's local, the woman who owns it travels to China, India and more to hand select the tea so it's always amazing. The selection of green and chai tea leaves are the best I've seen. The baristas are so helpful!! I have gone in multiple times with a flavor in mind, or to pair looking for tea to pair with a dessert, and they help me every time. I've also bought some tea ware items from them and it's top notch. They have specials everyday on three types of tea, usually a green, black/chai and white or fruit blend, and it's a deal. I love this place.

I went here one day about a month ago with the specific intention of buying tea from a small, locally owned shop (rather than Target). When I got there, I realized that the shop doesn't carry tea bags that are ready to sell, but rather mostly just loose leaf tea. The woman (owner?) behind the counter offered to weigh out individual tea bags for me, but I thought that seemed a little silly. So I started to look at options for brewing loose leaf tea at my desk. She pointed me in the direction of a tea cup that also had a drip cup/brewing reservoir and a ceramic cover to match the mug/cup. At less than $20 it seemed like a great buy, especially since I'd like to start buying tea from her! She was really honest and frank in advising me when it came to my purchases (the mini-brewing system and cup that I decided on was NOT my first choice). Then she gave me free tea since I was buying a "brewing system" for my desk :) They have great customer service (patient!) and are conveniently located for me and anyone else who works near Hennepin or LaSalle downtown. I recommend Northern Lights Tea Company to anyone who happens to be in the area!!

This tea shop was a lot smaller than I expected, but it certainly has quality! The employee was very helpful when I was trying to decide what tea to try (I'm an aspiring tea enthusiast.) She gave helpful advice when I mentioned I liked my tea iced. A nice little sitting area where I got to enjoy the tea she made. And, again, helpful when I wasn't sure how much tea leaves to buy to bring home with me. GREAT experience, and the tea I had was delicious! I can't wait to brew it at home.
