The Narrows Saloon

This local pub has a great selection of beers on tap and some pretty good food too. The revolving tap list is on the chalk board.The food is better than average bar food. Great sandwiches, I tried the small plate reubens and they were delicious. They have daily specials which are also on the chalkboard. I think that they have live music here too. Definitely worth checking out.

We've stopped by here a few times. A great local , casual vibe. Food, service, drinks are great. Sundays they do $8.00 burgers. If you're looking for a fun casual place that has a menu with a lot of variety check this place out.

Popped in for lunch on Saturday for my first time ever at the Narrows, which is crazy based on how much my friends dig this place. It did not disappoint. We arrived at 1:00p and were immediately seated at a nice high top. I love the decor of this place, which I would call cool eclectic. Our server took our drink orders and quickly returned with our beverages. My dining partners ordered the smothered burrito w/pork and the "Local" burger. I started with a bowl ($1.50 more than a cup) of lobster bisque, which I thought was a safe bet as several menu items contained lobster. The generous bowl was incredible....so much lobster and sherry flavors; however, it did lack any chunks of lobster meat. I then ordered the Prime Rib French dip sandwich, which came with nice seasoned skin-on chips. The sandwich had a very generous amount of shaved prime rib, carmalized onions, mozzarella cheese on a fresh garlic butter grilled hoagie roll. A great sandwich. Although not really needed, the au jus dipping sauce did not live up to this sandwich's hype. It was very watery. I mentioned this to our server, who went into the kitchen to try it. She agreed and returned with a fresh cup that was much, much better. All of us really enjoyed the food and the great service we received. Can't wait to return to try other menu items.

I always love going to the Narrows when I'm in town. The food, service and atmosphere are great. Love the bloodies and breakfast.

Had a really solid experience. The 5 stars is all about the Lobster BLT. Really tasty sandwich. Ambiance wise it's a small town bar vibe with high tops. Prices are reasonable and the beer list is standard. The service was fast. They have TV showing different Minnesota spots. Once again, solid experience if you are looking for a small town vibe bar with good food and some beer.

Big Saturday crowd for the Big 12 Championship football game at 11AM. Tasty Sausage omelette and hash browns and toast wiyh a frosty Grain Belt Premium tap. Great vibe with a live band and ugly sweater contest to boot. We'll be back.

Moved to the area and came in with a friend for lunch on Friday. Great bar staff. Had the lobster bisque and the grilled cheese and lobster sandwich and it was amazing. Clean and decorated nicely. I'll be back for the meat raffle and the bands And the menu. Can't wait to try more. Thanks for being so kind with the local info. I hope your pond in the basement has been fixed.

Good happy hour, staff was great.like the daily specials. We will be back when we're in town.

Service sucks. The food is hit and miss. You can tell it's different people cooking it cause some days it's made fantastic and most not.I was in today and had a waitress who checked on me once to bring me my beer and I sat there for 45 minutes to order food and walked out after paying. I had a "regular" push me aside to fit her husband next to her at the bar after they brought a chair from the side tables. There needs to me more of a focus on not serving "regulars or locals or friends" with better service and more attention. Idk if they need more wait staff if that would help but this has been an on going issue and I've been coming for a few years consistently

Fine good cheap place! Like the trivia and live music events. However could use more employees. Two servers for the entire restaurant on a busy Thursday night
