The Knapp Stout

Just passing through. This is a nice little spot with a variety of intersting regional beers. Toppling Goliath iinluded, and always a good choice. I had and enjoyed the Slammer pizza... A sausage/mushroom pizza with grilled onion. Very good.

The Knapp Stout is a welcome addition to Rice Lake. Each time I've visited, the staff has been very friendly and it's a great place to hang out for a girls night. There's something for everyone - dark to ambers, and ciders for the sweet lovers too. The wine selection is excellent too. Can't wait to go back!

Great selection of beers with a classy atmosphere. Always clean and welcoming. It's nice to have such a great place to go to.

Great beer selection. Everything from stouts, sours, and IPA's on tap from various breweries across the state/country to your traditional Wisconsin craft beers like New Glarus. We had a group of 12 and they got us out a tasty selection of food (hummus, flat breads, etc.) on a busy Friday night with good service to boot. A definite "must hit" if you're around the area, you won't be disappointed.

Worst service I've ever had at a bar! Myself and two of my friends walked in on Friday and were totally ignored. One bartender was wiping down the bar and the other was taking orders and moving at a snails pace. We waited for 15 mins with constant looks in our direction as if they were wondering why we sat at the bar. We finally got up in total disgust. I would recommend this place to go to to sit and talk about a better bar to go. Like The Bar right down the street where we were greeted right away and always had full drinks.

Great selection of beer. We like stopping here to see what is new on tap and often enjoy the pretzel.

Fabulous place to go for a variety of craft beers and great food. They have a great choice of beers and wines. They have a limited menu but what they have is wonderful. Love the atmosphere and frequently go there to meet friends and enjoy their relaxing atmosphere.

Traveling for work found this place using yelp. Not a vast menu but didn't matter to me. Great beer options. Quaint outdoor seating. Nice background music- not radio type.

Really friendly service, and a great place to bring a date. The craft beer list is great and the atmosphere is welcoming and perfect for a quiet night out.

What a great place! 20 craft beers on tap. You can even order a 'flight' of 4 smaller glasses for $6. Classy and inexpensive. They have appetizers and pizza. Had meat and cheese tray for $10 and it was plentiful. Hot pretzel is delicious. It's a MUST GO.
