This was an unexpected and wonderful stop. We were walking from getting brunch and ran across this place. There are a bunch of fun mini books at the front of the store. There is every genre imaginable by a bookstore, nerdy, retro, fantasy, educational, and more. There's also super fun stickers which are affordable. There are two nooks. One is a kids corner and one is a witchy section. The prices vary as expected, some better or worse priced based on the book. The cashiers were nice although rang my goods up wrong and then had to refund and redo this. Which I initially didn't notice and they fixed without prompt which was nice. I got three stickers and a mini "mindfucked" book which ended up being about 16$ and a huge win! I will absolutely be back here. They are supportive of LGBTQ+, women's rights, and had a queer book selection among other options that are not always displayed at bigger stores. Visit! This place is a vibe and super inclusive.

This bookshop is a local gem. They have a selection of new and used books on their shelves, along with the ability to order books on their website if they don't have them in stock. Both the store and the website are well-organized and it's easy to find what you're looking for. It's small inside but cozy, with a few chairs in various places in order to peruse before buying.I have been in twice looking for young children's books. They are tucked back in a room and are sorted by ages, so it's been easy to locate them. The prices on used books are very good and all the ones I saw were in great condition. They carry some mainstream items and some lesser-known authors too. I found multiple books from unknown (to me) authors and one of them is my child's favorite book, so I really appreciate the selection of books that I might not have known to look for at an online retailer. On both visits the cashiers were friendly and helpful when I asked a few questions. Checkout was easy and I was glad to support this wonderful local shop. I feel so fortunate to have this store so close by; I'll definitely be back.

I have been here several times over the 4 years this bookstore has been open (I was just at their birthday celebration today, 9/23/23), and I've enjoyed every visit. There is a great selection of new and pre-owned books, with quirky sections/categories (it's not the "romance section", it's "mushy gushy lovey dovey stuff"). They have a great kids section in the back with books for all reading levels. Prices for the books are comparable to all other indie bookstores I've been too, so fairly priced. The owners and workers are wonderful people and very helpful and happy to give recommendations. They obviously love what they're doing and it's easy to see when you walk in. Other notes:-Free street parking. -Notes on accessibility:Wheelchair accessible entrance, just need to go around the steps to the ramped sidewalk. For those who are hearing impaired, this bookstore is mostly quiet, and I've never had any trouble.

A new bookstore, Hooray!Though they aren't quite officially open I've been lucky enough to attend some pre-open events. They have a great selection of gently used books. Their sense of humor shines through with the cheeky section titles and interesting artwork. There are comfy chairs to sit in and narrow down your purchase selection. Plus they are one of three women owned businesses in the same building! If you are ever in the southern part of the cities you need to check this gem out! Bring your own books to get store credit for any they choose.

Now that the store has had its official grand opening, there are a few new additions. They now have a wonderful children's room and a space available for reading, book clubs, and private events called The Groovy Room. They also have an interesting collection of items found in the books that folks have traded in. So glad to have this new bookshop in the Cities!

I fell in love with the quaint & cozy book store the minute we walked inside. It had a welcoming atmosphere and Meg was a delight! It was filled with a wide variety of books, cards, shirts and so much more. This is one of the most unique experiences I've had while boom shopping. We signed up for a 1 hour browsing session and walked out not wanting to leave. The great thing is they shipped our books home and I've since ordered online. I highly recommend this bookstore if you are shopping locally, visiting the area or are looking for a wonderful experience. Meg several recommendations for us both & we both went with it. It's great to be able to have someone so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I look forward to many more years of book buying from this magical place!

Ordered my books online and picked them up a few days later. The process was so easy, very thought out, and ensured safety during covid. My books were neatly wrapped with my receipt and it was like opening a present when I got home! I had never been to the Irreverent Bookworm before. Will definitely be back!!
