Outstanding place! We went there with my extended family. Each of us had a delicious breakfast meal. Even my simple omelet was excellent! Make sure you get the hash browns which are the best I've ever had. Good coffee too. Definitely a return trip in future! Thank you!

Was brought here by a friend for a special dinner menu crafted with pairings from Lazy Monk brewery! Pleasant inside, the space was warm and tastefully decorated for the season. The service was impeccable with very friendly faces. Delicious food with beautiful presentation!

I've been here twice and I love the feel of the place, and I really wish they were better experiences. On both occasions the hostess wasn't very welcoming. Luckily my servers did a fantastic job, Jake on my most recent visit was great. Unfortunately the food was just ok and the coffee was terrible. With the coffee they brought a sugar cube bowl with tongs that was filled with sugar cubes. I really don't like open food that goes from table to table, I'm even surprised that health codes allow for open food to come off a table and go on to another. Sugar packets aren't cute, but at least I know that no one had there fingers on what's going on my coffee.

This is foodie food. The duck leg confit was delicious. My wife had the tenderloin medallions with creamed spinach and potatoes. We got a side of the sweet potato gratin which was delicious. I have the lox, locally raised salmon. Our server was attentive. It's a nice little spot, despite its mall-type location ( the Eastridge center used to be the Highland Mall).Ample parking. Unisex bathrooms. Beer and wine. No cocktails. Did I mention the food was amazing?Dinner Tu-Sat and brunch in Sat and Sun.Menu changes, available on the website.

Eau Claire is in desperate need of some creative food, and I am truly hopeful The Good Wives can improve our situation. Overall, the food here was creative and mostly very good. We enjoyed our first courses, the mains were solid, service was excellent, and the wine choices surprisingly good. I look forward to coming back and trying out there brunch at some point soon, as well as seeing what new things are on the dinner menu.

Food was really great! We had duck and dumplings and the short rib! Chocolate crème pot dessert was great too!

This place is 10/10 on every level. Great service, great atmosphere, incredible food. Haven't had a bad or even average meal here. Love that they change the menu often. You quickly forget that you're in a strip mall!

Don't let the exterior fool you, the menu was elevated and the food was amazing. It lived up to the mission and goals they put forth online. Wonderful find and will definitely make it part of future road trips!

Came here for dinner on girls night out and will be back! We had a reservation and they were ready for our group of four when we arrived. The food is incredible - our group tried all the starters, all the entrees and both desserts and each one was delicious and did not disappoint (highly recommend the chickpea w/aoli starter and onion fritter w/persimmon entree)! Our server Jake was friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed (including amazing wine recommendations). It's a surprisingly cozy spot, with modern decor and atmosphere. It's centralized location offers plenty of parking and great for date night or a group. The Good Wives is one of the best restaurants in Eau Claire! Can't wait to come back for brunch!
