A perfectly nice vintage store in the same area as several others in the Northeast Neighborhood, it has mostly men's and women's clothing and accessories from the 1920's through the 1990's. This is very not my vibe, so I wasn't as interested in the items in this store, but it was very well organized, bright, and spacious. Definitely go check it out as part of your NE vintage shop loop.

Butterfly collars should never go out of style, ever. Just being real, here. Butterfly collars are truly fly, and they look just as good on women as they do men. Polyester, that can go, but butterfly collars should be mandatory, generation to generation. Big fat triangular ribbons of neck-wraps announce that you mean bidness. That's how Golden Pearl rolls. This novice take on the styles of Golden Pearl centers on the 70's, a decade fraught with horror (Bee Gees -- love 'em, but the chest hair! -- Watergate, polyester and cocaine), and the joys of the disco ball, women in the workplace, it was a turbulent time. I'm guessing I saw the owner, Audra, when we visited, girlfriend was seriously decked out in 70's gear and girlfriend looked the part, plaid slacks and loose blouse, even her spectacles matched an era almost 50(!) years back. I'm sure she'd dispute this, because all I did was peruse the men's section, but her emphasis in my section was 70's, fairly-priced for the era ($30-50 shirts), the selection was well preserved and definitely, defiantly funky. We left the store empty-handed but seriously impressed. Ladies will love the selection here, and the price point is fair. Clean, super organized, and retro beyond measure, go.

This had to be one of the prettiest vintage shops I have been to. I started following The Golden Pearl Vintage on IG during the pandemic and was excited to finally visit the shop after purchasing a necklace from their IG sale. The shop had such a great selection of items and some of the best jewelry I've seen. They also had an excellent shoe selection. They had some incredible boots that were unfortunately not in my size. The clothing is all in great condition and easily organized throughout the store. Prices are very fair. If you are looking for a vintage coat, go here! So many beautiful coats/jackets at great prices. There was this creamy yellow one that almost went home with me (I had to convince myself that I already have too many jackets, but soon kicked myself for not getting this one). This neighborhood is fun to explore so I highly suggest taking walk around the area and stopping to The Golden Pearl Vintage!

You know how sometimes you try on a dress just 'cause and as soon as you finish zipping up the back, the rest of your wardrobe instantly looks like trash? The heavens open up, your too-white Minnesota-winter hibernation skin doesn't look half bad, and your hair suddenly passes for something that DIDN'T just come out from under a ski cap because the dress you're trying on is just so goddamned GOOD LOOKIN'?That just happened to me today at Golden Pearl.Vintage clothing is a tough business, man. My friend and I commiserated that so often you go into a vintage shop and it feels like pawing through the ugly section of your church's basement thrift store. This place, as you can tell from the photos, believes in soft light, and elegance, and curating. Bless their hearts. It is a joy to shop here. Also, kudos to the owner, who saw me looking longingly at the black velvet dress mentioned above- which I forgot about during my try-on round-up until she mentioned that I had been ogling it. That is damn good customer service, people. I wish more shopkeepers would pay attention to what I'm looking at, because I am a distracted motherf*#*(@.So now I'm literally sitting in my kitchen- amongst the morning's dirty dishes and a week's worth of junk mail- wearing a black velvet dress and emerald-green clip-on earrings that I just purchased at this place because I could.not.wait to put them on when I got home. Happy hunting, folks.

Frustrated with the sizing. Don't bother, unless you are a size 0-6. Not much for athletic or 6+ sized women. If you are not a tiny human, don't go in here, unless you want to feel very bad about yourself.

Best vintage clothing spot in town! Service and style to the 9's. Stopped in my workout clothes and went "from schlub to hubbahubba!" Thanks Audra!

I visited this shop not long after it first opened and, well, let's just say I've become a regular. For a city as large as the Mini-apple, there's a bit of a dearth of vintage clothing stores here and I was delighted to see another one spring up. And let's be real - Audra knows what she's doing. From her incredibly friendly staff to the charming decor to the main attraction, her incredible collection of curated vintage finds, this place is a gem. A pearl, one might even say. Letting Audra and her staff guide me has led to some absolutely heart-stoppingly good vintage finds that have become staples of my wardrobe. She has everything from the '10s to the '80s, in an eclectic mix of styles, so whatever you're looking for, there's a very good chance you'll find it here. I've gotten everything from incredible Edwardian blouses and skirts, to 30s silk velvet gowns, to 50s circle skirts and suit sets, to 60s mini dresses here. She has an incredible jewelry case as well! Stop in with an open mind, take some suggestions, and you won't regret it.

Incredible selection and the friendliest staff! Also, the store itself is gorgeous. I came in there as a orphan and left as a price. This is the only place you need to go.
