'Sometimes you want to go....where everybody knows your naaame. And their always glad you caaame....ect"One of, if not my favorite place to be. It has a GREAT, friendly and welcoming staff. They all seem like they love working there. Everything on the menu I've ever tried is at least good - I've never had a bad meal there. And let me tell you about the Kareoke vibes and Sunday and Wednesday nights: You'd be hard pressed to find a better DJ than DJ Blasta when it comes to fun and variety. I'm a regular there for a reasonThey have a patio and additional parking down the street. My ONLY COMPLAINT is that there's not a lot of seats available somedays (place fills up pretty fast). But even thats not too bad of a thing - the more cherry pitters, the better. The place has a mature older vibe, but the crowds I see there are diverse - from young adults to the elderly. Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, Samoan, I think I even saw an actual alien in there once. He had on a trench coat, sunglasses and was doing the moonwalk to "Karma Chameleon".....Anyway, check out this spot, especially if you're outgoing, down to earth and you like people (and aliens maybe) from all walks of life

I recently checked out Cherry Pit on the east side of St. Paul after hearing rave reviews about their wings. I stopped by on a Saturday evening and was pleasantly surprised to find a fun atmosphere with Vikings staff hosting raffles and giveaways--it definitely added to the vibe.I came primarily for the food, though, and ordered the walleye sandwich, six-piece wings, and a Caesar salad. The walleye sandwich was flavorful and easily my favorite part of the meal. The Caesar salad was decent, but the wings didn't live up to the hype for me. They came out extremely burnt, to the point where I had to ask the bartender to have them redone. She mentioned I should request 'less done' wings next time, which I found odd since I didn't think they'd come fried hard by default.The customer service was decent, though I didn't appreciate being pressured to close out my bill before finishing my meal--it felt rushed, especially if I'd wanted to address any issues with the food. On the pricier side for what I got, but the overall atmosphere was decent, with a laid-back, hole-in-the-wall bar vibe.Parking-wise, they do have a small free lot, though it can fill up quickly depending on how busy they are. All in all, while I appreciated the walleye and the lively environment, I probably wouldn't return specifically for the wings.

Food is good. There's sandwiches, burgers, and salads to choose from. We love the club sandwich and burgers. Go for the waffle fry upgrade with sour cream.Service can be a bit slow around here. It's usually pretty busy here too especially on game days. They do have great drink specials on game day.

I ordered takeout and everything was packaged well and stayed hot. Would definitely order from here again!The BLT was really tasty! I added 4 strips of bacon and definitely didn't need to. The sandwich already had a good amount of bacon but I could've gone with the extra 2 strips instead. It was served on a thick bread which helped it all stay together. There wasn't much for tomatoes but the lettuce and tomato seemed fresh.The cheddar broccoli bites are my FAVORITE and I can never find them anywhere!! They were delicious as always. The ranch was perfect for dipping and the broccoli bites were crispy and had lots of filling inside. Absolutely coming back just for these.

Definitely a neighborhood spot. Came here on a Saturday night. Drinks were affordable and I thoroughly enjoyed my wings. Come here for the good music and food but don't expect five star service.

My sister ran across an Instagram post for The Cherry Pit and wanted to check it out. We decided to go during lunch on a Friday. The did offer a few lunch special options for $6.50, which is a great price. I did not order off the lunch menu and ended up trying a Buffalo wrap with crispy chicken and fries and my sister ordered a plan ole hamburger with nothing on it. lol. My buffalo wrap was good, sauced well and filling. My sister said her burger was really good & seasoned good. I'd usually start my weekend with a nice drink (which they seemed to have decently price/cheap drinks) but I decided against it-- this one time. The bartender was also our waitress, she was very nice and checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed while we were there. She was great!They have a parking lot which is nice, because parking in this area can be a pain. I would go back to try more things on the menu.

The food was AMAZING! My burger was SUPER fresh and came with wings on it!!! My husband's walleye burger was delish. Our waitress Diana was super personable, gave out great recommendations and answered all of our questions. She deserves some free food! The meat comes fresh from Big Steer Meats across the street from them. They also have meat raffles on Fridays for the meat from there. The decor was done up with great Halloween decorations and the bathrooms were nice and clean. The patio area was well lit. Highly recommend if you want to try somewhere new!
