The Cheese and Pie Mongers

I love the Saint Peter Coop! When I first came to town over two decades ago, I was delighted to learn the Coop was here. I love the food, the atmosphere and sunlight streaming in through the windows, the location, the hot bar, the produce, the healthy and eco-friendly products, and the diversity of the ever friendly and competent staff. I don't think I could deal with Minnesota Winters if the Coop wasn't here. Grateful!!!

Their pies are the best! Love having a pier shop in town, banana cream is my favorite and the pumpkin cheesecake is a close second. My only complaint is that is has been bad for my waistline.

Stopped by on my way from the Cities to home. Got the sour cream raisin pie because that's my BF's favorite. I've never had it. It was delicious! I got the strawberry rhubarb pie and the crust was amazingly light. They nailed the entire pie.

The Caramel Apple Pecan Pie is amazing here! The crumb crust caramelizes and crisps so nicely on the filling consisting of apples, pecans and caramel, taking the ordinary apple pie to a whole different level. An additional part of the enjoyment is baking the pie in your own oven, filling the house with the lovely aroma (and, anticipation). Originally, I bought the pie to share with my parents and the neighbors for Christmas Eve but I decided to buy two which I do not regret since everybody had seconds (and, some for breakfast). I can't wait to try the other pies when I am back in town. (ps, the pies make great gifts!)

Best pies anywhere! Made by real people with real ingredients. Doesn't get any better than this! We'll be back!

Today we had the best pie I've ever had in my entire life. It was a mixed berry pie that we got right out of the oven. We took it to a potluck dinner and everyone said it was the best ever.

I have a biased opinion because I am employed here. The Cheese and Pie Mongers offer amazing from scratch pies and features some of the best cheese from Minnesota and Wisconsin.
