Went to The Buttered Tin in Northeast Minneapolis for Saturday lunch with a friend and the Dill Pickled Grilled Cheese was unreal. (Dill Havarti and provolone cheese, dill pickle chips, and peppadew relish on toasted sourdough bread.) I also added bacon to mine. For a high traffic place they had a really good system of flipping the tables and I don't think I saw one person waiting even though the line was out the door.Parking note: it's street parking so make sure you are prepared to parallel park in winter haha

My hubby and I took a family member here and all three of us loved our meals. I'm trying to reduce calories, so we skipped the amazing looking cinnamon rolls and other tempting baked items. I ordered a simple eggs over medium and their homemade toast, which came with some fabulous jam and a wonderful little salad. The eggs were cooked beyond medium, but were still good. I was expecting to feel a little deprived by my egg and toast order, but instead it felt like a yummy, wonderful treat. Good enough that I still have to give the meal a 5-star review. My sister-in-law ordered the eggs benny and my husband the egg sandwich and they both loved their breakfasts, especially the sourdough bread. We will most definitely be bringing more guests here!

I've been to Buttered Tin twice now - it's a great spot and their cinnamon rolls are AMAZING and the cabbage on their perogi plate deserves a special shout out on its own, but for some reason the eggs are never seasoned at all. It can get a bit loud on the weekends but that's anywhere. Overall I think they have a good menu and their staff is also super amazing! Just needs a bit of seasoning on some items.

The buttered tin is amazing! The interior is cute and a really nice vibe. I've tried multiple things here and everything is great! The apple pastry is delicious! Their salad dressing on the breakfast side salad is delightful. It is so fresh I loved it.

I'm visiting from Portland Oregon where breakfast/brunch is a sport. The establishment was busy yet ran very efficiently. The food was amazing and the staff couldn't have been any more friendly and accommodating. Their commitment to excellence shines through in the food.

Loved this place! Was recommended it by a friend and it did not disappoint. I've tried a few things, but love the egg sandwich and the French toast. Have been back several times and always a good experience!

Large portions, friendly service, a great business model, and perfectly 'brunchy' atmosphere, that is waaay too expensive for the extremely average flavors. The menu is full of some *really* curious items, that at least from our experience is much more interesting on paper than in execution.

I grabbed lunch here on a Monday. It was busy but not crowded and we had no wait to get seated. Street parking was also easy. I like that breakfast options are still available during the lunch hour.We tried the cinnamon roll, huevos rancheros benedict with chorizo, and regular vanilla twinkie. Some baked goods are discounted after 1 pm; unfortunately we left before then or else I would have bought some more items to sample. Everything I had was delicious. The cinnamon roll was not too sweet, and the flavor of the benny was a different but delicious spin on the classic. I enjoyed the combination of southwest flavors of corn bread, salsa, and ranchero sauce with the richness of the guac, chorizo, and poached egg, all topped by the textural crunch of the tortilla chips. The dish itself is also large enough to share and came with a delicious refreshing salad. The twinkie was good but not an exact replica as the exterior was not as soft.I would come back for the benny and to try more baked goods.

I had Pretty decent food and experience. The service was just ok, it took a little too long for them to take my order despite there not being a line. You have to order first and server will bring out your food to the table you choose. It has a cafeteria type feel to the place. I ordered the smothered burrito which was big & pretty tasty. I loved the red sauce but didn't care too much for the green sauce. The tortilla was awesome and the fillings were good as well. The price was pretty steep for a breakfast burrito. With an added service wellness charge, my total came out to $20+ for just the burrito and nothing else.

We went here on a whim for brunch, such a cute place! We ended up coming on Father's Day, so it was a bit busy, but overall the service was excellent, food came out fast and we didn't have to wait long for a table to open up.The food was super tasty, I had the biscuits and gravy and my boyfriend had the breakfast burger - both were large portions and yummy.
