The Balloon Bunch

I got 25 balloons on a short (1 or 2 day) notice for my girlfriend's birthday! Pickup was super easy, as other reviews stated this is mostly a delivery business that is run out of a house on Grand Ave, and he instructs the you to just leave cash and take your balloons. I forgot to reply to my order confirmation text, and got to watch him blow up the balloons (insanely fast) while we had a nice chat! Every single balloon floated for 4 days some went nearly 6 day!

Called last minute to ask if I could pick up 1 Happy Birthday balloon. Man who answered gave me clear but odd directions to come into back porch, leave money under a brick, and take my balloon. I gather that this is mostly a Balloon Delivery business - not a "stop in and browse" business, and that was fine with me. 1 Mylar helium happy birthday balloon was just under $5

I had placed a order of 3 bunch of balloons the day before a baby shower. We knew what we wanted for the decor balloons but couldn't figure out how to reveal the baby's gender so the ballon guy made some suggestions on how we could use balloons to do that and found a great selection of really cute balloons. It was great. Every one loved it. Delivery was on time and the guy was very nice. I would use them again.

We got a last minute balloon bouquet for our one year old's first birthday. It was incredible!! She loved it. When we called, they helped us identify balloons they had in stock that would be right for a 1st birthday. We got two mylars and a bunch of latex. We picked the mylars over the phone and asked for just various bright rainbow colors for the latex. They gave us some that were just solid colors and some with prints, like polka dots. The bouquet exceeded our expectations -- it looked so cool!

I contacted this sweet Balloon business from NC. My Uncle was very ill in St Joseph hospital in St Paul. I wanted to send him something cheerful and fun. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very kind and patient in helping me pick out just the right combination of balloons (which by the way need to be all latex free and mylar). He told me he thought he would deliver late afternoon but my Uncle got them mid-morning. My Uncle was so happy. It really made his day in a very unfortunate place and situation. Long distance this was handled beautifully.

Gary was extremely helpful and accommodating when I called in for a unique request the day before my boyfriend's 30th birthday! Balloons came on time and they were perfect. Highly recommend - a great local shop and business owner.

Unfortunately I'm leaving a 1 star and haven't even got to go inside. This is my third time trying to get balloons from "this awesome balloon shop on Grand". Driving out of my way to get a fun bouquet of balloons but each drive was a waste of time and money because they're ALWAYS closed. It's 2:52 pm, last time around 1:00 pm and first time closer to 5:00 pm. How do you run a business when you're never around?

I created a Yelp account just to write a review on how unprofessional and rude this store is. He wouldn't give me a price of his services until he knew what Party City had charged me for the same service. He hung up on me when I wouldn't tell him. RUDE!! Also, he "doesn't have regular business hours." When you order something, he leaves it on the porch and you are supposed to leave cash there for him. Again, very unprofessional and also lazy! Customer service is absolutely awful.
