By far one of my favorite Vietnamese places in the Twin Cities to get pho. When I'm not getting pho, the fried rice is my vote for #1 in town.Service is quick and prices are great. The restaurant is clean and we've been here several times for family gatherings - a perfect lunch or dinner spot! Highly recommend.

We did take out online which was very easy to navigate. First time eating here and wish I tried it sooner since I pass by on 85th all the time. The price and portions are great. You get so much food! My iced coffee was delicious and very strong. The Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio was so fresh, pork & shrimp cooked perfect, and the dipping sauce ties it all in together. The egg roll was soooo good. Outside had such a nice crunch and lots of filling. My husband enjoyed his fried rice and they made it spicy like he had requested. Definitely will be coming back and hopefully can dine in next time!

Great experience! Met up with a friend for dinner on a week night and we were seated right away. They had a ton of cuisine options - from Thai, to Chinese, to Korean, to Vietnamese. I was a little skeptical and thought, no way could any of this be really good, since it' was such a wide range of Asian cuisines . Well, I went with Chinese and was not disappointed. The Hunan Beef had a nice brown sauce with fresh vegetables. I got the combination so it came with a heaping portion of chicken fried rice and I chose an egg roll. The egg roll was SO GOOD, definitely Vietnamese style. Everything was delicious and the portions sizes were fantastic for the price. Our server was attentive and we never went without water. We were also those annoying people who took forever to look at the menu and order, but the server came back twice and was kind about it.All in all, great experience and I would love to go back.

Pleasant atmosphere with large seating area and ample parking. Bathrooms could be freshened up a bit. The food is quite good and not Americanized takes. Egg rolls are thick and meat heavy, very delicious breading. Enjoyed their General Tsos combination of sweet and spicy. Actually shocked at how low cost their menu is, definitely will be back again!

Thanh Vi is in Brooklyn Park's hot spot for Vietnamese food, meaning there are a handful of amazing Vietnamese restaurants in the area. That being said, Thanh Vi has amazing pho. What I noticed that makes their pho a bit different from the others, is that their beef bone broth contains some floating droplets of beef oil (from the process of boiling/simmering the beef bones). Some people may be deterred from this, but I love my droplets of beef oil because it adds another level to the broth, although it is subtle.Their wings are also really good. The plain ones are breaded, so it contains a nice crisp. Their oyster wings are also good, being covered in a dark sweet, salty, and umami oyster sauce. Definitely a go-to starter for me.A guilty pleasure of mine are cream cheese wontons, and Thanh Vi's are AMAZING! You know the usual cream cheese wontons where the fried wrappers are a bit thick and hard, and require a bit more jaw muscle? You won't have that here. Thanv Vi's wonton wrappers are paper thin. When you bite the cream cheese wontons, they are so thin and flaky, it easily breaks apart in your mouth. This may be the best cream cheese wontons I've had. If you're craving for good Vietnamese food, Thanh Vi definitely will meet your cravings.

I ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan lunch special with cream cheese wontons and fried rice - amazing deal at $8.95- the portion was huge enough to share! My favorite was the fried egg rolls with cellophane noodles - crispy outside and tender inside. The moo goo gai pan sauce was a bit on the mild side, but loaded with chicken and fresh vegetables.Just added a little soy sauce and it was great!Service was friendly and Anna was attentive-Speedy service.

Good place for Viet Food. I got the bun thit, nem nuong. The nem wasn't my favorite but the thit nuong that they had was very good. Tried some of my mom's pho broth and it was good as well. What I really like is their che, especially their che ba mau (3 colored che). It's a great dessert dish.Overall it is a place I would definitely come back food. There'a some chinese dishes on the menu as well, but it is Viet owned and I've only had the Viet food here. The atmosphere is really relaxed and there are booths and tables available. The staff and owners are all very friendly as well. Great spot in Brooklyn Park

We've been coming here for years. Service is always great and friendly. Food is consistently good! Our favorites to order: egg roll (a must! Fat, juicy, crispy), spring rolls, combo pho, pork chop rice platter, and sometimes we want a taste of Chinese so we order the Kung Pao chicken. I can't give it 5 stars because some of their other dishes are good, not great.
