Terminal Bar

This is definitely a bar- but the space for the bands was nice. The drinks were relatively cheap ($4 for a glass of whisky) and the atmosphere was nice. It's a cash only bar and there was a $10 cover charge which I assume goes to the performing bands. I don't think I would go without a reason due to the cash bar but was nice for a night.

I came here half dozen times for Comedy night, which is open mike for stand up amateurs. While the comedy ain't great, I highly recommend checking it out just for the experience.It's a dive bar, so I can't really complain about the selection of beer, but they did usually have at least one or two decent craft beers on tap.It's a casual place with good people, and a horrible bathroom.

First time going was an okay experience.. fedora guy didn't seem to like serving drinks. Crack a smile or say thank you at least lol

The smell of urine and sound of heavy metal bands is not my flavor. Update: they cleaned everything and re-tiled the bathroom and it no longer smells like urine! The son of the owner (bartender) is nice and talkative. Still very quiet and lacking a nightly band; you have to give them credit for staying open and trying during these tough times. A classic really old dive bar in the heart of booming E Hennepin on the outskirts of downtown. Another perk is their partnership with Stray Dog. You can now order food from next door and they will deliver it to you. I am not sure if the food from Stray Dog is any good, I doubt it's better then rival Whiteys, yet I love the concept. Come to this bar. Check out the bathroom. Relish in the dive of dives.

I'M happy to report that the bathrooms have been remodeled,,THANK GOD,,,and they got the remains of elvis out of the cellar,,also the popcorn machine is working again,it's been out of order since 63,,,also ,,, if your an alcoholic his is a goodplace to drink, and if your not an alcoholic YOU SOON WILL BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Also comedy nite on thursdays,,,help them

I give the Thursday night comedic acts three stars but the best part about stand up is when it's good it is good and when it's bad it's great! We enjoyed some good ciders and tap beers and a bar that's NOT crowded at all and you can get a drink in 2 min

Love me a dive bar! Annette and Sally are sassy hooligans and wildly entertaining! The men's restroom is what nightmares are made of, but keeps em' in and out quickly!

Best dive bar in Minneapolis. There's always something going on, whether it be bands, stand up or karaoke. Drinks are cheap and the bartenders are super friendly. It is cash only which only adds to its charm.

Great place to hang out .. bathrooms have been totally upgraded .. survived covid and trying to thrive .. solid management

The drinks are fine, but the band (Neverclear) they constantly invite to play is bad. We've stopped going since their music gives us headaches. The lead singer is not good.
