We had a great and tasty dinner! Our waiter, Brock, was very friendly and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meals...I got the special, beef stroganoff with black spaghetti. The sauce was thick and tasted great and the meat was very nicely cooked and was a generous portion! Everyone at our table had a great time!

Nice setting for a north woods restaurant. Filet was a bit overdone but very tender and tasty. I had the duck breast which was good but extremely small as was the accompaniment of rice and vegetables. Good cheesecake and good service. Nice setting but a bit pricy for the north woods.

I stopped in early due to the fact I skipped lunch. I really feel for these places now, could have been really good. Darling atmosphere, but I was sitting at the bar and food was just average. I was by myself so I could hear the banter of a the staff, which after working in many restaurants I kinda enjoy. But not so much this time. A new bartender thrown to wolves, didn't know where anything was or how to make a basic cocktail. The salad was just ok, and the asian tidbits were so salty I could barely eat them. I hope for sure this place makes it, It is charming but have patience and don't expect too much, its just not going to happen.

We had a wonderful dining experience last night. Our waitress Suzanne was fantastic and made great recommendations. The wine, the escargot appetizer, the steaks, pasta, and cheese cake were superb! They even sang a wonderful rendition of Love is for the way you look at me for our anniversary! Can't wait to go back again!

Great Food, I went with the ribeye. Wonderful atmosphere and fantastic service. Will definitely go back the next time we're in town

We were on vacation looking for a nice resturant, choosing this one based on indications that it was a fine dining experience. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare, it arrived cooked as ordered, however, it was cool as if it had been setting out for a period of time before being brought to the table. The bed of mashed potaoes that it was served on was cold, the green beans that came with it were under cooked(not edible). My wife ordered the pork tenderloin, and yes it arrived the same way, cool, with cold mashed potaoes and under cook green beans. This was a Saturday night , the dining room was less than half capacity. At no time did the server check in with us during our meal to see how ewe were doing.

Food was fantastic! A little pricey but delicious. Our waitress Darlene was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. She worked very hard to make sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely go back!

Exceptional food, beer, wine, and service! Great ambience as well. The Classic Hamburger is a must-try.

My family and I from St. Paul came for dinner while we were on vacation. While our food was good, we were appalled by the server with a braid. She tried several times to talk over our real server Greta, and you could tell Greta felt like she was trying to take over when Greta was more than capable. At the end of our meal, our server let us know that we had 5 mins and then we had to leave. Just poor service. A couple of the waitresses need some professional etiquette training. Things in a restaurant are not black and white, and you should simply strive to be the best.

I have never written a review before but had to relay our experience. We were a party of 4 and ordered their specials. Two of us ordered the steak special which was served as 4 rectangular one inch pieces - and one to two tablespoons of corn and about the same, maybe a little more of fried potatoes- $35.00. Also ordered strawberry side salad for $14, which was ok, but have had better.The other 2 in our party ordered the Parmesan Salmon. Again very disappointed as the serving size was small and the asparagus seemed tough and stringy. Our bill for 4 people to eat here was close to $200. The amount of food served for the cost was ridiculous. Needless to say we won't be going back.
