Tasty Pizza - Hangar 45

Dec 6., Friday. Excellent food, great service, excellent service, really good live music. A very enjoyable evening.Tasty Pizza has an extensive menu with an emphasis on Italian food. They have in-door dining, take out, and delivery. They also have take and bake pizza.This restaurant of owned by people who grew up in this community, care about their community and give back to this community.I highly recommend this restaurant.If you live nearby, I strong believe your first visit will not be your last visit.Dr. Pollard

I am not a pizza lover... however I WOULD go back to this place if I had a craving for the 'za. The topping to dough ratio was near perfect. The dough itself (thin crust) was equally crunchy as it was soft... the kind that's durable and won't drop the toppings off.The service was SPEEDY. Our server tended to us often enough to meet our needs and allowed us to enjoy our company.The ambiance is definitely "dive bar"-esque. It's got an old cabin vibe, music and all. I appreciate this type of environment every now and again.*Shared parking lot with other businesses in the strip mall*Attached to the Hangar 45 (2 separate sides)*Would be crowded for parties larger than 4-6 people

This is one of our go-to spots for pizza when we can't decide where to eat. It is very casual, almost a dive, but not quite. A very neighborhood type of place. The pizza is excellent and consistently good, we always order a pizza. The pizza is thin crust, I'm not sure if there are other options because we love the thin crust. Be careful because it is lava hot when delivered to your table. The drinks are nice, generous pours. The price is decent/almost cheap for what you get. The service has always been friendly and pretty attentive and fast. They have sports on several TVs (not really my thing, but the sound is off so it is not bothersome). I can't comment on the other food as the pizza is so good that is all we ever order. They have pull tabs if that is your thing. They have specials some nights, and bingo or meat raffles some nights. They have an area that is mostly bar, and another area that is mostly dining, but the menu and drinks are served the same in both areas. In general - love this place!

I have visited Tasty Pizza - well Hanger 45 (the bar area) - a number of times over the years. This hometown feeling, local driven, pizza joint and bar has all the feels of your typical Midwest eatery. The dining area is somewhat dated and kind of run down but not divey. There is a small patio outside that faces the parking lot which isn't much of a few as they are located in a questionable/less than desirable shopping center. You will also find pulltabs... I know, what a shocker. Service has always been pretty quick and friendly. There is definitely a rapport between the staff and the regulars but it doesn't hinder the attention to an outsider like me. The food is above average, in my opinion. You can expect excellent bar style pizza as well as some of the best meatballs I've ever had, great wings, and a Midwest favorite - made rite sandwiches. All at more than reasonable prices. Like, it's actually STILL in 2024, pretty cheap. Not only does Tasty get my recommendation, it will be a place I personally continue to visit and enjoy regularlyIG: danny_runsforbeer

Beats the heck out of reds savoy for tavern style but just not the highest of quality and our onion wrings were preeeety crispy. Staff was very very nice and accommodating though I wouldn't want to dine in but that's not really their thing I think

At first site the restaurant/Dive Bar was very unassuming but once seated & being greeted by the waiter the laid back yet friendly energy & bar vibe similar to cheers made our lunch visit worth it.The service was good & the food came out in a good amount of time. The "Sassy D" what I would consider a meat lovers pizza was enjoyably unique with the addition of Polish sausage as a topping. The "Mentally Unstable" breadstick appetizer was good nothing spectacular but definitely better than some chain restaurants.Would definitely go again for lunch.

Awesome pizzas, awesome beers, awesome service. Every. Single. Time. Our neighbors turned us on to Tasty Pizza -- their favorite Wednesday night spot. We've been back with them maybe 10 times and it's high-time to show Tasty some love. The specialty pizza menu is huge. Big enough that I always struggle making a decision because everything is good. There's some unique pizzas on the menu that might surprise you. The Nordeast with sauerkraut is a surprisingly delicious pizza. The taco pizza is a favorite. My neighbor always gets the cheese pizza, which always looks really good. I always see it and say, "next time". The beers on tap offer a good variety and change occasionally.The non-pizza items look delicious, but I have, so far, stuck to the pizza menu.I love Tasty Pizza and think you will too!Until next time...

Great pizza. The pastas are good, too, but they stopped making their best sauce (Mama T's) during Covid, so only four stars after shrinking the menu. The burgers, chicken strips and fish are very good, too, but it's the pizza that made this place legendary.

Great place. The interior, the hospitality, the food, the regulars makes it feel like you're in a neighborhood bar in Rome. Even better with the selection of bottled beer.

I ordered their Thin crust Cheeseburger pizza and I was quite satisfied with the speed of their delivery and with the flavor of it. The thin crust was truly thin which is difficult to do with a loaded pizza like this and still have it have a degree of crispness instead of being soggy. The toppings were favorful and had the sharpness of the pickles that are essential if were are talking cheeseburgers. All in all a good experience.
