I got some food to go here and I had a great experience. The service was very friendly and professional, and the food was ready when I arrived. I was greeted very friendly and asked if I needed anything else upon checking out. The inside of the place is really adorable. the food itself is very good and they have a really decent selection here and the prices are pretty affordable

Moved to Silver lake last year and were disappointed for the lack of good Mexican restaurants in the area. We are back again for the summer and were told about Taqueria Del Buen Pastor and it is fantastic Mexican food, tried 3 different tacos and a tamale. This will be our go to restaurant for Mexican food, will not be disappointed, try it!

As far as "Fast-Food" Mexican places go, the Taqueria Del Buen Pastor blows the competition out of the water. If you drive by and see it, I challenge you stop and give it a try. My friend swears by this place and I always joke that he alone is keeping them open. But as the word travels, the truck is getting more attention. I have really only tried the tacos and what the tacos lack in size they make up for in flavor. I have tried both the lengua (beef tongue) and the tripas (beef intestines) and I really enjoyed them. The taco comes with your normal fixings plus cilantro and radishes! I have also seen how big the large burrito is...better be really hungry if you order that.

This place is THE place to go if you are ever in glencoe. During the summer they operate out of a food truck that is on the main drag in glencoe (across from the caseys). Their food is authentic, flavorful, great value, and delicious. I went their twice in two days because of how good it is. The barbecue was my favorite, followed closely by the al pastor. The tacos are a good size for the price, and if you are really hungry go for the regular size burrito. The only piece that was a little small was the salsa that came with for chips and salsa. Overall great Mexican in the middle of Minnesota.

"Best food truck in Minnesota". Those 5 words and the fact that the truck is located about 15 miles away from home convinced me I needed to check this place out. As luck with have it, I was in the Glencoe area around lunch time one day, and made a stop for a burrito. Being a rookie at this food truck, I ordered the large barbacoa burrito with mild sauce and a soda pop.Positives:-Huge, tasty awesome burrito. This thing puts Chipotle burritos to shame with it's massive size.-Great prices. My huge burrito was $8, which included salsa. Add $1 for a can of pop and you've got nearly 2 meals worth of food for $9.Negatives:-It's a food truck, so they have limited hours - usually only lunch hours and dinner. Not sure what happens during the winter...-It's not in Hutchinson...though I hear they do travel up here on occasion. This is truly the real deal. Great homemade, authentic Mexican food. This is a family-run operation, and the quality of food is fantastic. Truly seems to fit the "best food truck in MN" moniker...I can't wait to go again...

Excellent food and moderate prices. For food trucks they are amazing and definitely worth the wait in line that you are most likely to experience because of their popularity. But if you are with friends or outgoing enough to strike up a conversation with complete strangers, this is not a problem. If you're in Glencoe, MN, this is a definite lunch or dinner must.

We were driving through and was looking for something to eat and thought we may need to locate a food truck around town. They have a brick and mortar restaurant (clean and nice) and stopped in for a burrito, chips and charro beans. I lived in Texas for a long time so a bit picky but the reviews were convincing. I got a Barbacoa burrito and it was great. The meat was mild and had a homemade flavor, like a good roast or stew, reminiscent of a place I used to go to in college. The salsa with the chips were excellent and also tasted homemade in the best way. The charro beans were different than I am used to but decent. For sure worth your time and money.
