Growing up in the 90s, coffee shops were the domain of the cool kids. The ones who were just naturally cool and didn't really have to try. But somewhere along the way cool became pretentious, and coffee shops became that, too. Tapestry is a throwback to the 90s cool kind of coffeehouse.The vibe is really chill and relax. But they also take their coffee very seriously. The little things, like putting two shots of espresso into small lattes and using whole milk in them, show in the coffee. Everything is meticulously done. The bourbon caramel latte was perfect. And the iced version of it was even better. The baristas were on point as well.I can't wait to be in Minnesota again to go back.

I'm a big fan of this local shop! The drinks are fantastic, and the Avocado Toast is absolutely delicious--definitely a step above the big chain coffee spots.That said, I do have one small suggestion for improvement. Online orders are often delayed and rarely ready at the stated pickup time. It's caused me to be late for work a few times, and I've had to order elsewhere (Starbucks/Caribou) during weekday mornings. The bigger chains have my order ready on time 95% of the time. On many occasions, I've arrived at Tapestry to pick up my order and noticed walk-in customers being served first, even if they arrived after me.One additional staff member, or a more streamlined process for online orders, might be worth considering. I love this place and would prefer to keep ordering online, especially during the week, but the delays make it a bit challenging.For those who stick to in-person visits, though, this is a 5/5 coffee shop--no question! I hope the online ordering process improves soon because this place is truly a gem.

The latter was delicious and super cute! I'm a sucker for a cute coffee and they delivered. The staff was super friendly. I worked here for about an hour and they have enough seating so everyone was spread out which made it pretty peaceful. Cute small town coffee shop feel.

I've been here several times since moving to the South suburbs and you honestly wouldn't be able to tell you're in the suburbs - this cafe rivals some of the coffee shops in the city!Love the wrap around decor throughout the cafe and every time I'm here, the staff are super welcoming and always greet everyone with a smile. I love how they offer seasonal drinks. The pastries in the case are delicious too. They run out fast though ! The early bird gets the worm.Recently tried the lemon poppyseed latte and it was incredible. Just the right amount of sweetness. The scone and gluten free donut were incredible too. My toddler loved her hot chocolate.

I tried this cute coffee shop last weekend. It was delicious and in a beautiful old bank building in Lakeville. I will definitely be back again. Everyone was so friendly and the coffee was amazing. I tried a bourbon caramel latte and a mocha latte. Both tasted great. I had my items to go, but I would've loved to sit there. They had windows seats that looked so quaint.

Always great service here! I love that they have a small core group of baristas because it keeps the drinks consistently made the same and delicious! Tried the spring menu items today, blueberry latte and the lemon poppyseed latte (both iced). Blueberry was super good, very subtle flavor so it still tasted like coffee which I love. The lemon poppyseed has coriander bitters which were a bit overpowering in my opinion. Love following tapestry on Instagram so I know when they create new drinks (highly recommend)!!

Outstanding service and the coffee staples on-menu are always reliably excellent. Moreover, they also have a seasonal coffee menu to keep us "townies" always interested in coming back. You simply cannot ask for anything more. Prices are almost always competitive with the big brands (i.e. Starbucks, Caribou, etc.). Often times, prices are better even!Additionally, they have a fun, local chess club there meeting on Saturday mornings every week!
