Tamarind is a fantastic spot located in a charming area near Pinstripes and West Elm. Our dining experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our server was incredibly welcoming and provided outstanding service. The food was a solid 10/10 -- flavorful, authentic, and perfectly cooked. My personal favorite was the lamb biryani, which was bursting with rich spices and tender meat. I can't wait to return for another delicious meal!

The decor is what you expect in a strip mall restaurant. The food was delicious with a large menu to choose from. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I will definitely be visiting again.

Got the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan for dinner. It was pretty good, but very oily, see pic, I've never had a chicken tikka so oily before. Overall it was good but not the best I've had.

Delicious Indian cuisine available for delivery. It comes well packaged. Fresh ingredients. And fast service. I highly recommend their tandoori chicken off the grill it's so juicy and flavorful despite there being no sauce.

In town for work, and looking for an easy and tasty dinner. I'm always in search of good Indian food, and Tamarind was in walking distance. Arrived without a reservation and was quickly seated. Almost all the tables filled up shortly after -- always a good sign. I ordered more than I normally would for a party of one, but I wanted to try multiple things. Samosa chaat was my favorite dish by far. It had nice heat and the cilantro chutney was a delicious complimentary sauce. The mushroom masala was creamy and rich. The aloo gobi was cooked well and had some subtle flavor. The service was good -- making sure my water was refilled often. In general, things could have had more aromatics and spice. They use a 1-5 scale for "spiciness". For all dishes I asked for a 3 or 4 (described to me as medium to hot). I would say that the spices and aromatics used were closer to a 1 or 2. Subtle flavors and a little too salty.

Solid place for Indian food. It isn't fine dining like you get dressed up but it isn't like a dive bar vibe either. The interior is nice and they do have a nice bar but you can be dressed casually. The service is a little slow but everyone is friendly and I would say it's a sure way of knowing the food is fresh and hot. I wish our server was better able to describe the heat levels as I did not think the food was spicy at all- I actually decreased my heat level based on what he said. If you are Indian and used spicy go for the hottest level and for medium the second most hottest otherwise everything will taste sweet. Yes, it smells incredible when you walk just like a home cooked with traditional Indian food should. The menu was extensive with primarily North Indian/punjabi cuisine along with indochinese. I thought the indochinese options, particularly the gobi Manchurian, were quite good but probably would have the entree options more for apps. The saag paneer was pretty authentic but a little on the creamy side for me. The kadhai tofu was ok, a little sweet and little lacking in flavor. The paneer naan was good but could have been better with garlic or chili. The puri was perfect but if you are used to smaller puris just know these are huge! In general the portion sizes are small and the dishes come with rice usually so feel free to sample. Overall a solid spot if you want to some quick Indian food.

Overall an OK Indian restaurant-they do some things well: gobi manchurian, vegetarian platter appetizer, and chai to name a few. They also have a decent selection of beer and wine. I felt like the curries however were tame in spice, borderline too salty, and one note in flavor-our table ordered a couple different options and they all tasted similar (probably due to same base sauce). Service and ambiance were decent.

I ordered for delivery and the three dishes arrived promptly and hot. Seemed like a good start. It was all down from there. I don't know if there was new ownership or a new chef but the food was awful. Not one thing was decent. Everything was spiced without skill, overcooked, not balanced, and basically inedible. A few bites in and it was thrown away. I don't know how food like this could possibly have such a high rating!
