There's many locations of Taco Libre but I really like the Roseville one because it is always consistently delicious, brightly lit with plenty of seating, quick service, and pretty self serve. You can order at the register or kiosk, grab your own salsas, and seat yourself. I'm a huge fan of the tripe and lengua tacos here.

Cool taco shop, they've got it all there - tacos, burritos, tortas, etc. You can order at a kiosk when you walk right in or talk to someone at the counter. They're making your order fresh and they call your name when it's ready to go. They're making fresh salsas and you can scoop it yourself. We had the machete with chicken tinga and al pastor, it was plenty of food for the two of us. Some chips and queso on the side made for a perfect and easy lunch. Plenty of seating and a nice dinning room as well.

If you need a taco fix, this place will definitely satisfy your craving but the machete is the way to go and al pastor is definitely the superior choice in meat, don't ask me why but it is. Always fast friendly service. Everything is well kept and I love the art work and decoration

I've been to the Taco libre location in Edina and I prefer this one in Roseville. The street tacos are delicious! I got the El pastor chicken and barbacoa. Plenty of tables for groups big and small. Food came out fairly fast after we ordered onT the kiosk. Everything is self serve.

I really enjoy the nice cooks on the meats Taco Libre has. The choices and DEFINITELY the sauce bar. The pricing is a bit pricey but for the amount of food and quality it's worth it. May be a little splurge, but it's no issue.

I really like the Machete dish here, because it's decent food, large quantity for a very good price. My only complaint is that to get water with your meal you have to buy a bottle of water.

Taco Libre is a yummy and quick place to grab a bite to satisfy your Mexican food cravings.Parking is convenient. When you enter the restaurant, you will notice touchscreen kiosks where you'll order your meal. Then, you'll grab your food down the line. The staff are friendly and quick. You don't have to wait long for your food. As you wait, you'll probably move to the fun Spanish songs playing. It is a fun place to be and the decor and art statements on the wall are so creative! When your name is called, you'll grab your order and your own salsas to go with your meals. We ordered tamales, alambre, side of rice and beans, and jarrritos. It is great to know of a place nearby that has tamales. They were a bit crumbly and dry, but they are good with salsa. Price is a little high, but probably worth it due to its location and limited competition.Stop by and enjoy it for yourselves!

I've been so excited about this place every since I first saw the sign go up. I thought it was open way ago and realized they were remodeling the inside so never knew when they would open doors. So drive by and saw that people were coming in and out of here and that was my chance ! You walk in and you order through some tablets it's pretty easy and I was blown away by the variety that they have. I mean when it comes to tacos they have all types of classical meats which I was very happy to see specially lengua which is my fav! That night I was craving a torta which is basically a Mexican sand which on steroids using a telera as a bread. Wow was this torta packed with flavor. My partner had tacos and all were very tasty. You know a place is good depending on how their salsas taste and this hit the spot! You tend to get a watery version of tomato sauce with chips but this sauce was different because you could taste that some of the ingredients were roasted and you had the Smokey was of the chipotle peppers. I always order an horchata and this one has to take spot 1 among the horchatas I've had at restaurants. They cover it up for you so no spills happen if you were to take it out. The place is incredibly nice! You can see an amazing wall display of jarritos which is a Mexican soda. There is plenty of seating as well. I believe this is a chain as I've seen others around so it does make me happy to see that this one is in Roseville! Service was great and I was just very moved by the woman who cooked our meal that once I was done I had to thank her in Spanish because it reminds me of authentic Mexican food. She was very kind and I look forward to coming here again with the kids (:

I recently visited Taco Libre in Roseville, and while I've been to other locations with a preferred vibe (West St Paul!), this one impressed me with its great food and quick service. Ordering is smooth as you do it on your own. The menu is EXTENSIVE (in a good way!), and prices are average/a little high. The carnitas street tacos were stuffed generously, and the meat had a melt-in-your-mouth quality with great flavor. I also loved the tortillas... They were corn, but kind of crispy and not grainy! The salsa bar is a plus because I like a lot, and there's ample seating. Definitely worth a meet-up with friends!

Delicious street tacos plus some weird things Minnesotans like (such as tacos with a flour tortilla). I love the wall of Jarritis, love the salsa bar, love the carnitas. Staff is friendly, food is tasty and quick af
