Surfside Bar & Grill

Food was good. Local bar/restaurant establishment right off of Lake Minnetonka. Food was good. Drinks were inexpensive. They were able to accommodate my special request for a drink. My husband loved they had tons of college football games on TV. Service was fast and attentive.

Very busy always rushing my chicken wings I stop going there me and my son the chicken is rush to cook I just want them to cook my food a little more done

Hands down the best spicy margarita in Minnesota. Originally I ordered a vodka soda, then saw the "Taco Tuesday menu" and wistfully commented that I wished I had a margarita. Woman behind the bar-Claire- replaced my Tito's sofa for the spicy margarita. Claire was welcoming and gracious and didn't bat an eye. She was so great- hospitable but not too chatty.The spicy margarita was not too sweet (I hate sweet margs) and the habanero simple syrup gave it a pleasant kick. The tajin on the rim gave the whole thing complex flavor. My first time here and I will DEFINITELY be back. Ambiance was laid back.

This place has a casual, comfortable vibe when you walk in. Kind of an Applebee's, meets Perkins, meets neighborhood bar. Great open floor plan with the bar in the middle and TVs all around with sports and other shows play. The noise level is minimal, which makes it great for conversion and catching up. Our server was super attentive, chill, and funny. The appetizers were super satisfying. The main course was just okay (good, but didn't wow me). I got the french dip with fries and was satisfied. This is definitely a place to stop in for drinks and apps!

Stopped at this place for dinner tonight and was pleasantly surprised! It's a cute little divey restaurant with a good selection of food. I got the coconut shrimp salad special and it was super good, and only $15! Their food and drinks are all relatively cheap. Had great service and food was ready super fast. Also tried the Korean and chicken stir fry's which were really good. Would recommend if you're looking for a dive bar with good food near mound.

I was totally happy at the end of our meal. This was our first visit here. Unusually busy for a Tuesday evening but treated nicely while waiting at the bar for a booth to open up. The cornbread mini loaf served with our entrees was delicious,!we are taking one home to try and reverse engineer them, FN yummy! We shared the homemade potato chips and a beet salad with grilled salmon to begin with. Then moved on to walleye fish and chips and a brown rice and quinoa grilled salmon with honey and Jalapeño sauce.I do not usually review on first visits unless it worth it. I found it worth it and do plan to visit again.

Love the exterior sign for this joint, and the up to date interior was also impressive.I had the Jalapeño Popper Burger with a meaaaaaan sweet chile sauce, an excellent touch to a very decent dish. Soooo many unique options to try here. Good for family and friends, or even a first date. I look forward to returning!

The dirty dining room ruined the experience for us. The host sat us at a table with gobs of half-eaten food underneath. When we asked to move, we watched him kick it farther under the table instead of cleaning it up for the next person. The new table wasn't much cleaner. The bin with napkins and forks was covered in some kind of sauce. The more you looked around, the more every table looked unkept, and they weren't even at capacity. Food was actually decent if you can get past the mind games of what the kitchen must look like if the main room looks this grimy.

Just moved to the area and it's our new fav place. Super great prices and great service. Love the outdoor seating options. Have a huge menu with something for everyone. Great burgers and rice bowls.

we have a large family, various ages, and frequent surfside regularly. the waitstaff are friendly and helpful, food is always excellent.but....their margaritas are served in an oversized shot glass. i am hoping the owner will surprise me with a decent margarita glass.perhaps i could bmog (bring my own glass).
