Stinson Wine, Beer and Spirits

Planning for a sushi making night with friends, I went to buy some sake. I had not purchased it myself before. Walking in, I walked around a moment before someone asked if I was looking for anything specific. I let them know I was looking for sake, they immediately directed me to the room temp sake shelf, and also pointed out the refrigerated sake. The staff member asked if I had any questions or needed anything else which was appreciated. I let them know I was just looking for a simple, basic, lower cost one and she pointed out a couple. I grabbed a couple other items in addition to the sake on the way out and was pleased with all. I really appreciated the helpful staff and kindness. The store was clean, organized, and stocked. In addition to the sake, I saw many items stocked that you don't find at evert liquor store which is always nice! Will return - this may be my go-to, local liquor store?!

Good my everyday liquor store. Small but got variety. Good service. Good ambiance. Great

This was the first time I'd come into the store. My beau has shopped here a few times and I usually just stay in the car. I'm not a big drinker, so it's the only reason for this.It's a nice little shop where the staff are friendly, even if the customers have physical boundary issues. I decided that I'd look for some wine and found that they have these single-serve cans of weird things. Again, I'm not a big drinker, so these things are weird to me. I chose two cans and a bottle of something that sounds fruity.We were greeted nicely at the register and had a brief chat with the lady cashing us out. We had a chuckle and left the store to being thanked for our visit.I'll be back to try something weird. Nice folks here.

Great neighborhood booze shop in Northeast. Prices are definitely reasonable plus the selection is great and the staff is knowledgable. It's just fun to browse and maybe pick one or two new things out to try.Now if only Minnesota would embrace some modern liquor laws. I mean it's great you can finally buy package on Sundays, but only between noon and 6pm? There's a lot of tax revenue the state is missing out on. People will continue to make night runs to Wisconsin and spend their money there.But that's not here nor there with Stinson. They run a great shop, so stop by if stocking up on booze is on your to-do list.

I love this being my local liquor store. It's clean, feels as covid safe as anything indoors can be, and always friendly staff. They have a great selection of beer, wine and spirits. They have everything from a 30 rack of Hamms to a 4 pack of new local beer to a wide array of spirits.

First time to this fairly new place. I like obscure beers and locally made fruity wines. The clerk quickly explained the wine layout and I was impressed by the growing collection of Mn made wines. The entire selection of wines neatly categorized could keep me going for hours but we need to move on. Craft and beers with weird names and labels is a fast growing industry and I'm sure this store has just about every brand they can find in distribution. I know distribution is a huge problem in Mn so I applaud their effort to pull brews I haven't seen elsewhere. The only drawbacks to the location which isn't the fault of the stores is the lack of traffic control for this little mall. A left turn on 18th from Stinson is a dangerous move, it's better to enter from the West on 18th. Another odd thing there are people just hanging out it appears in the parking lot.

Prices are a bit higher here but selection is great.A large, rustic-modern space with plenty to explore. Staff seems quiet but welcomed our dog and offered her a treat.Will probably go again because we're so close but I don't often seek to spend my monies on alcohol. No complaints!

We came to Stinson very specifically because we heard they had Bent Paddle beer in stock, and indeed they did. Hooray!But in general, I thought it was a very nice little wine and beer store. There was actually a very large wine selection (probably a little more than half of the store is wine), but we all know I'm a beer gal. The beer selection was good, surprisingly deep for the amount of cooler space they have. We found the Bent Paddle we were looking for and picked up a couple of other surprise finds as well (we just can't help ourselves, can we?). Pretty much all six packs unless you want a case of something. Prices were a bit on the high side but not ridiculous. Staff was friendly and fairly knowledgeable.

Went in really quick looking for a whiskey I hadn't been able to find and I found it here. I was very pleased! Staff is always extremely friendly !

Everyone in this shop is so unfriendly not even mildly helpful plus they are overpriced. I spend copious amounts of money on alcoholic beverages for happy hour at my work place. Never going back here again. Rude, rude, rude and did I say rude?
