SS Billiards

This was a fun little surprise. My friend brought me here to play some pool and it was great. The location is small but they are able to fill it without making it feel crowded. There are some great pinball games and a couple pool tables. The owner is very friendly. I will be coming back here soon

A fun way to spend an afternoon! The owner, Lloyd, is incredibly nice and runs a clean game hall. I highly recommend this place!

Fun date night place! Forget going downtown or uptown, this place has lots of great pinball machines, 5 pool tables, and a couple of old school video games. Come, support a small business, pet the friendly doggie mascot who will greet you at the door, and have some fun!!

I love pinball. The owner of this place loves pinball and THAT love is what makes this place great. At anyone time there are at least 20 different games active. Then there are those that are rotated in. It really is a cool place. In addition, if you feel your skills are good enough, there are tournaments to enter.

If you like to play some old school pinball, this is a good place to go. There are not very many places to play good pinball tables at. The owner here knows a LOT about pinballs. It is a quaint little place in an old run-down strip mall in Hopkins. They also rent pool tables by the hour. They have both old and new pinball games to play here. Some of the new games are pretty cool. If you are in the market for one, i am sure he can help suggest some options for you. Good place to unwind. My son and wife love to play pinball too so this is a fun family activity.

If you like pinball this is one of the best places to go in the Twin Cities. There is an exceptional collection of machines from classic to the most contemporary machines out there Many of the machines are limited edition. All are meticulously maintained, play the way they should and games are priced as low or lower than anywhere else.There are several gems. One in particular is one of the first Twilight Zone machines ever produced and sold. Twilight Zone is ranked in the top 3 machines of all times. This one has some additional bumpers on the lower left play field that make the game easier (less draining) and more fun to play. I have never seen one like it. It was fun to see and play, and the owner, who knows a ton about pinball, took some time to tell me about that and some of the other machines. The dog is also fun to pet and super friendly.SS Billiards is a great find. The atmosphere is perfect for kids and grown ups with a kid still inside. Come with friends. There are plenty of machines to play on your own, doubles, triples, whatever. Definitely check it out of you like pinball and/or want to share your love of the game with others.

I love the comfortable feel of this place. It's old and the pinball arcade is awesome. The owner has been at this for 30+ years and there is a rotation of new pinballs every few months/weeks.One of the best I have been to in MN!

This place is located in a pretty boring and tired looking strip mall, but once you set foot inside, it's all about the PINBALL. At least for me, although they obviously have pool tables as well. But I always go there for the great selection of well maintained pinball machines. Lloyd, the owner, is a great guy, and so is his little white dog that always greets me at the door with a wag. If you're ever near Highway 169 and Excelsior Blvd, swing on over to S.S. Billiards and see if you can knock my initials off the High Scores!

Lloyd "LTG" at S&S Billiards is a legend in the pinball community, so when I had travels from California to Minnesota I made sure to stop by. He's a wealth of knowledge both online and in person, yet super friendly and happy to chat and tell stories of his vast experience in the pinball world. The pinball machines were great of course as well, and it was cool seeing locals come in Friday and Saturday nights shooting pool and playing pinball, but the real treat for me was meeting the man himself.

I love it! Poolhall and pinball, no nonsense. The owners charming. The pinball selection is top condition! Unmatched. Ehh, competitors, no good. The pool ball tables look smooth. It is a very small business that has been there for a day or two. Give a thanks would ya?
