Sota Clothing

Very cute local boutique specializing in Minnesota gear.The shirts and sweatshirts are made out of a high-quality material and are very soft and comfortable. They also have other Knick knacks like ornaments and key chains and cutting boards.It's a cute store but quite expensive, although as I mentioned, it is high quality. I usually shop there during their spring and fall sales when they offer discounts on a lot of merchandise and during their Black Friday special which is usually 25% the whole store.

If you are a lover of MN state pride, this adorable home town hero shop is where you need to be!!! Homegrown and started as a school project at UMD, founder Spencer is the most humble and down to earth guy that truly wants to do right by the community. Materials and partnerships for the brand is local and loved, so much so that we saw Sota even when we lived in Texas!! Amazing variety and locally sourced, we honestly love all things Sota in this household!!

After walking into the entry, I remember reaching a bricked-backdrop loft style gathering area where gin cocktails were being served and consumed. Sota clothing. Sip while you shop. I actually did both. Sipped Gin on the patio next to the turquoise caravan shop, then purchased a men's polo shirt to wear. Which I must say was very soft and comfortable on the skin. I was supposed to grab a gift for a friend, but anyways.....you know how that goes, a gift for them and a gift for me. My peripheral vision couldn't help but notice the rustic but quaint turquoise caravan pop up shop that invited me into a picture friendly patio area out back. Sota clothing. I'll have to make my way back.

Great locally owned business tucked in what looks like an old business district. I stopped in for a little peak and some unique Xmas shopping. For all diehard Minnesotans, this store has a fun lumberjack/iron range vibe. True to our MN roots. The pricing is a little high for some items but they are in a fairly niche market so it's not too drastic from that standpoint.Babies, adults and pups alike can all get some Sota gear. I found the crackle candles to be wonderful in smell and love that they have the crackle wick to sound like a real bonfire.I bought a MN flat bill cap for a friend and spent $28 after tax. Overall the environment is nice and clean. The staff is sweet and A fun place to get a Minnesota specific gift! Did I mention they have Vikings themed gear?! Yea cannot forget about that!

This is a great, locally owned business with clothing to please all Sotans (that's Minnesotans, ya know). They carry clothing for babies to adults and have a wide range of styles, colors and also carry Sota gear for your daily life. We shopped on their opening morning and they were graciously giving away reusable shopping bags and had a wheel to spin for discounts and other prizes. The store is well appointed and neat. It's big enough to hold a wide variety of products but cozy enough to give you a cabin feel while you shop! Their products are high quality and fairly priced. I would highly recommend a visit to Sota Clothing!

Great place for all your MN apparel needs. Sweatshirts, hats, hoodies...they've got a wonderful stock. There's an excellent selection of glassware and mugs as well. It's located a little off the beaten path. There's not a lot of other places around it, but not hard to find. Locally owned store that you should definitely check out!

I was familiar with Sota Clothing seeing some things at Tobies in Hinckley and some products at 218gifts.com. I also googled before the yelp event. I bought one raglan or baseball type shirt at 15% off. 218 had my other Sota Shirt at 25% off along with the beach towel I didn't win. The baseball shirts are so soft and cute. They are true to size and not women's form fitting. The shirt is a little longer also which I like. If you can't find your size here, check 218gifts.com as they also carry some Sota Clothing.

I went to Sota Clothing last night for a Yelp event. This store is so fun. I bought their new Fern Hill sweatshirt which is the best color and the softest feel. The store has such a great vibe. A perfect place to pick up a gift or two. The whole space is great. Hope to host a dinner there soon!

Not a great vibe. Not a single staff member greeted me or acknowledged my family. All of the merchandise is waayyy over priced. Had there not been balloons outside for their event I probably would not have been able to find them. Very odd location.

10/26/20 Update: I took the sweatshirt back to the store and they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. They did say they were having issues with this particular sweatshirt, but they gave me my money back. Great customer service!!The sweatshirt that I bought was so cute and comfortable, staff was nice/friendly enough, but the quality of the sweatshirt is SO POOR. I had to exchange the first one because of a hole in the pocket. Got home with the new sweatshirt...another hole in the pocket and then where it is supposed to be attached to the inside of the sweatshirt, completely coming apart. So much pilling under the arms and starting to unravel in the armpit. $59 is too much to pay for a sweatshirt that I'm going to have to multiple repairs on...will be returning.
