Snuffys Malt Shop

I always love coming to Snuffy's, and I feel this is the best one. I love the wall paintings and the coziness of it.I tend to always get the grilled chicken sandwich, and this is the only place I get dill dip. It's so good! The fries are also very good!And of course can't forget the malts! I love the brownie malts.I haven't gone too recently, but next time I go I can get pictures!

Snuffy's is awesome! So much fun to bring the kids there. The food is very good, not gourmet, but I don't think anyone is expecting that.Favorites are the shakes, the french fries, and their chicken noodle soup.A great neighborhood, kid friendly place to go. Lots of good local history hanging on the walls, too!

I love Snuffy's for that classic diner feel. Service is good and food comes out fast. I got the cheeseburger with American cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, and pickles. The burger was juicy and the bun toasted perfectly. We got the family style waffle fry to share, I would say it feeds 3 people. The waffle fry is crispy while being soft on the inside. We got seasoned sour cream and Chipotle mayo for dipping ($1.50 each) and the dipping containers are a big size. Definitely recommend the seasoned sour cream!! The plaza burger was delicious, the sour cream is a great touch.

Snuffy's is a classic institution in the cities. The malts are enormous. My son got half of a chocolate and it came with the remaining left over shake which was almost enough for another full glass. Service is always speedy and efficient. We went there because of the waffle fries with seasoned sour cream and my love for beer battered onion rings. Don't miss this place. Because it's in the strip mall adjacent to Lakewinds Co-op there is plenty of parking.

Really awesome strawberry malt. Paired with hot fries and you can't go wrong. Old fashioned ambiance and nice staff. The vanilla malt was great too!

If you want an old school malt shop experience, this is the place! The dinning environment is very cute with all the paintings. The chili is just right! FYI, if you want cheese in there, extra 50 cents. Burgers are delicious. The malts are the best part of our meal.Price is VERY reasonable! Kids menus are only $6! We will definitely come back again!

I went here with my daughter-in-law and my twin granddaughters for a girls' night. I used to go to the original Snuffy's in Edina when I was in high school and returned to that location with my own kids in the 1990s, but I'd never been to the Minnetonka store. We arrived at 5:30 on a Friday and the front was already full, so we were seated in "the dungeon" in the back - a nice area with murals on the wall but absolutely zero cell service. They do not offer free WiFi. The girls agonized over their shake flavors finally settling on chocolate-cherry and chocolate, while Mom got strawberry (lots of fresh strawberry chunks!) and Granny got fudge. The shakes are delicious and a full shake means you will fill your glass three times. The girls got half shakes and I was kind of wishing I had, too! So cheeseburgers and chicken strips for DIL & the girls, waffle fries with seasoned sour cream for the table (holy cow that was a huge basket of fries!), and I ordered a patty melt. The regular fries were ok, the waffle fries were better but not great. The seasoned sour cream was pretty meh. As for my patty melt I should have realized that the menu stating "all burgers are cooked medium well" was a red flag for an overcooked, dry burger which is what I got. The cheese, grilled onions, and added bacon couldn't save it. The grilled marble rye didn't help. Even ketchup and mustard couldn't save how dry this sandwich was. I managed to eat half and quit. There are a lot of other menu items but none that would tempt me to go back.

No matter the location, they always have great food, yummy malts and friendly staff! This location has a larger seating area, which was nice and didn't feel as cramped.

I love a good burger joint! I ordered a Snuffy's burger with grilled onions (the grilled onions are a free add on!) and it was sooo yummy! I ordered a single serving of fries but you can absolutely split this between 2 or 3 people. We also ordered a family size serving of waffle fries with ranch. HUGE portion size also. The banana malt shake was absolutely amazing! I don't like when places say they have banana shakes or ice cream and you can taste the artificial banana flavoring. Snuffy's does use real bananas which was a huge plus in my book! So good! It was a little loud and hard to have conversations or even hear the music but out waitress was so kind and attentive and constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed without being overly pushy. Would absolutely come again!

Snuffy's is a great place to go with your family or even if you just want some great chili cheese fries and a butterfinger shake! Staff is great they even ran my glasses out to the parking lot that I had left on the table.
