Smith Coffee and Cafe

What a cozy and welcoming coffee spot. My bestie and I were blown away with the friendliness of the gentleman behind the counter. He explained the menu to us and listed off a few of his favorites. There was so many options to choose from, but we tried the Smoked Sea Salt Caramel & Maple Clove. We also split the cinnamon roll and the jalapeño cheddar biscuit. Wowza that biscuit was amazing. I'm not a huge cinnamon roll person, but it looked good. My bestie loved it. The area is spacious. It's an older house and had a lot of character. There's a nook area with stained glass - so cool. There's two private bathrooms near the entrance and it was neat and tidy. Will be back!

There are a few too many coffee shops in Minnesota that feel sterile, modern, and cold. Smith is the exact opposite. I felt like I was sitting in a friend's living room. With plenty of natural light, numerous nooks to post up with a laptop or meet a group, and delightful food options, along with a variety of drinks, Smith may be my new go to. Only issue? I think everyone else has the same idea. I ordered their sausage biscuit breakfast sandwich. It arrived fast but cold, not sure if it had been hanging around a few seconds too long? Nonetheless, the biscuit was flakey and light with an onion based aioli dabbled between the extensive layering. The soft scrambled egg paired nicely with the white cheddar cheese and the house made sausage patty certainly added flavor. Slightly dry, but again, I don't get the sense that it was made to order. Would absolutely come back to try their lunch menu, breakfast burrito, and specialty drinks.

Such a fun spot to check out! Each room is a place you can enjoy your coffee and connect with a friend. There are larger tables for groups and smaller tables throughout. You can also rent a room there for a few hours in you'd like. Service was great-They deliver your coffee + food to where you sit. Which is very nice!

This is one of the coolest little coffee houses I've had the good fortune of visiting. We ventured out with our baby boy who was practically newborn at the time and the baristas were super friendly and accommodating. They have their own roasting equipment in-house, the coffee they source is delicious, as are the homemade pastries. The seating is surprisingly abundant for such a small old building - the layout is very cool, navigating the creaky hardwood floors through all of the quaint, bright little rooms.

Smith Coffee is truly the most perfect coffee shop. Nestled into a cozy and charming old home with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, from the moment you walk into the door to order to when you leave with a full tummy and a coffee buzz, you will have a truly great experience! They have a robust breakfast and lunch menu that offers many vegetarian friendly items as well as baked goods. Their food is made fresh and truly unbeatable, especially in comparison to chain coffee and breakfast spots. They have many specialty and seasonal coffee drinks as well as the tried and true staples (Americano, espresso, latte, etc.,) that are all delicious. The cherry on top is the staff is always so kind and patient despite the steady/busy flow of customers. If you are looking for the hallmark movie type of coffee shop, Smith Coffee is the place for you!

Smith Coffee & Café in Eden Prairie is a local favorite known for its historic charm and welcoming atmosphere. Set in a beautifully restored 1800s house, it provides a cozy environment both indoors and outdoors, with a lovely backyard garden. We love the friendly service, and their coffee is highly rated, with popular choices like the Cinnamon Girl iced coffee. The café also serves a variety of breakfast items, with their Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuit and Sausage Biscuit Breakfast Sandwhich standing out, along with their Almond Croissant. The café's setting and atmosphere is unique and reminds me of So Cal offering a mix of contemporary and nostalgic elements, making it an inviting spot for a coffee break or catch up with friends. Parking between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm might be challenging during weekends.

This is a cute little spot with lots of space to study. I think their unique speciality drinks are blended well, and add flavor without being overly sweet. I did enjoy their pistachio cardamom latte more than the flat white, but it was still good!

Smith is a much-needed option for Eden Prairie. I haven't visited the Smith house since it was a Dunn Bros which is my loss, because I was pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian options and yummy matcha here. Service was fast and friendly, and the food prices here are very reasonable. I ordered the vegetarian burrito with avocado and a matcha latte. My only complaint is the burrito was a bit dry and plain. I added lots of hot sauce which helped, but next time I'd probably try a different dish like their avocado breakfast. The Smith house is just as cozy as I remember with lots of seating and many people working remotely. I'd return just for the matcha latte, as it's very hard to find good options in this area.

If you're looking for a homey cozy coffee shop I'd highly recommend Smith Coffee and Cafe. It's a charming red house that's clean and bright. There's many tables, but it was a full house when we visited. We managed to find a spot in a corner near a window. I loved all the natural lighting here. My bestie and I ordered the Smoked Sea Salt Caramel Latte, Maple Clove Latte, Jalapeno Cheddar Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich, and Cinnamon Roll. They bring your order out to you which is very nice. Our lattes were very flavorful and tasty. The jalapeño cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich was excellent. The biscuit was soft, buttery, and had a nice jalapeño flavoring. The cinnamon roll was soft and had an icing on it. I think next time I'd get a croissant or a cookie. The gentleman at the counter helping us was very friendly and helpful. He shared his favorites and gave us recommendations. Really made us feel welcomed. I can't wait to come back!

Ordered a raspberry beret (an iced vanilla latte + raspberry cold foam) & it was absolutely delicious! Also got a bacon avocado to-go, which was average tbh. I wish I got their avocado toast instead (I know, basic) because it's just so good. Super busy when I went but overall good experience!
