Thin crust, minimal sauce and cheese. And the slice was actually a slice plus. Should've been great. But the pizza tasted a bit stale. Needed more sauce. All takeout and the staff person was fast and efficient. A few standing tables available. This was a step above convenience store pizza but couldHave been much better.

Cute as a button take-out only slice and pie shop in a triangle in NE. It's right off a couple of bus stops- meaning, you could get a slice each day on your way home! If making a special trip, call ahead because it seems their hours change on a whim due to staffing. Sounds like they will opening another location in St. Paul. Can't wait!

Absolutely stellar pizza! Thin crust but not a crispy crust, which is so much better. The chicken on the pineapple chicken had a bit of jerk seasoning to it which was PERFECT. Can't wait to go again!Has a nice little concrete patio with tables or stone walls to hang out and eat. Pizza came out quickly but not right away so you know it was made fresh.

Yup. It's here. The best takeout pizza in Minneapolis. And at $25 for a whole pizza, it's good on the wallet too. We pulled into the lot, which had lots of free and easy parking (even if you have to pull around the block after missing it the first time). Ordering was also easy and the cashier was kind and inviting. The wait time for the entire pizza (which we requested extra sauce on) was approximately 5 minutes. Aw yeah! We waited in our car since it was cold out, but we could've waited in seating they had outdoors. The pizza is thin crust and the toppings are given generously. Seriously, there is no downside. Get your pizza today. Also, follow them on Instagram for specials they run. For example, they had a Buffalo chicken pizza special for a week! Yummmm

A bit hard to figure out how to get to if you're going by car, so definitely recommend walking over to it if possible. The pizza is very solid for Minneapolis. No frills, but massive slices with generous toppings. Not the cheapest, but better prices than some of the other popular spots around (Mesa, etc.).If I'm in the Northeast area craving some quick pizza, I'll probably find myself here again.

Biiiig fan of Slice. The crust is chewy and delicious, the sauce unctuous, and the cheese and toppings high-quality. I love bopping over here for a slice over lunch, and it would make a terrific late night spot if they stayed open a bit later. This former insurance office is in an awkward but prominent location at the corner of HenCen and is TINY, so I usually have to wait a few minutes for my slice but it is so worth it. Hot and fresh, some of the best pies and slices in town. Highly recommend Slice! Check them out in Northeast at at the Midtown Global Market.

Who doesn't like a gigantic slice of good pizza at a reasonable price in a very convenient, Central (pun intended) location?!??I've been watching and following Slice since they opened and then they had a fire last year, fortunately the community rallied around them to help with damages and so they could reopen which they did last summer/fall. While I was skeptical about the location in northeast Minneapolis near the Holiday gas station and White Castle near Central Avenue, I realized a guy I've known at the gym (Lifetime) is one of the owners (Adam) and we started talking about his business, why he opened a pizza place, etc. Besides the back story on Adam and the other co-owner, what I can say and really want to get across in this review is Slice is a locally-owned, black-owned, small business that produces slices and whole pizzas. Sure, it's not as fancy as Black Sheep or Wrecktangle pizza but that's not their competition or market either. Slice is all about a no frills, good quality ingredient pizza and again, I think the prices are very reasonable for what you get. After a workout at the gym last week, I decided to wander over to northeast to pick up something to eat and decided to grab a slice. To my surprise, there is a small parking lot that holds maybe 3-5 vehicles, otherwise you can readily find metered street parking very close. There's a walk-up window where you order and get your food and in the summer, Adam showed me plans where they plan to have some tables on the lot, which would be great for people and car watching. Slice is on an island between Rusty Taco and Spitz and Lu's Sandwiches if you drew a straight line between the three.I ordered a slice of pepperoni which was honestly enough to feed two people. Not only was it a big portion but it was pretty good too - I'm not pizza connoisseur but I'd easily give it 7 out of 10 stars - plenty of good pepperoni, I liked the sauce and even the crust was good - closer to a thin crust but a little thicker than NY style, maybe it was really like the old Broadway Pizza crust. Anyway, the price with tax was just over $4 - not bad.Anyway, if you're in the neighborhood and are craving some 'Za, head to slice, you won't be disappointed.

New York Slice type of pizza joint is the whole point here, though they do also sell a whole pie. But no pasta, calzones, or other distractions - it's just pizza.A rarity in the Twin Cities, as there are not many slice places, nor Black-owned pizza places. But here's one, and they look to be off to a great start.

Got two slices. They were ok. Would put it on par with Costco pizza. Wish there was better seating nearby.
