NOT YOUR MOTHER'S MINI GOLF! Skyline Mini Golf is a little wacky and unconventional compared to your average mini-golf, but if you're a mini-golf fan, it's a must do! Pay at the front desk at the Walker Art Center and then take the elevator to the 7th floor to play. An attendant will give you your club, ball and score card there. There are a wide selection of ball colors to choose from, which makes it fun. I chose neon pink. :)One huge attraction of this mini golf is the fact that it's on the rooftop and there are views all around of the city. The first play was using your club as a cue on a billiards table to direct the ball into the pockets/holes. (See my photos). Another play was tipping a tilt table to get your golf ball around a maze and into the hole. I failed miserably at that one! It's a pretty short course, but very different, very artsy. Don't expect it to be anything like you've played before. We played the 10 holes for $12 (Summer 2024).

This is a fun date night activity, especially if you're going to dinner in Minneapolis. I wouldn't make it the main activity of the night as it's fairly quick and you can get through all "holes" in about 20 minutes, depending on the size of your group. The holes are makeshift novelty holes, but they're fun.I'd recommend grabbing dinner or drinks at Cardamom downstairs and then hitting the mini golf course at sunset!

Skyline Mini Golf is a fun outing. It is on top of the Walker Art Museum. Before golf you walk in the gardens, for $6.00 more you can access the galleries in addition to the $12.00 golfing fee. Golfing is 10 holes. There are a variety of golfing, dropping or moving balls with hand and creating your own statute garden to offer complications to the golfer on your team. It was quick. We were done in 30 minutes but it was fun! We would certainly do it again. Watch the video and listen to the church bells peak while we played.

My husband and I LOVE minigolf, and the Skyline experience was so fun! It's a shorter course, yet so fun to be on the roof! Recommend you reserve a time online beforehand, then get there early (or stay late) for lunch or a snack at the museum's cute restaurant.
